GIZZI: What was the biggest mistake made in the ‘08 campaign?
PALIN: The biggest mistake made was that I could have called more shots on this: the opportunities that were not seized to speak to more Americans via media. I was not allowed to do very many interviews, and the interviews that I did were not necessarily those I would have chosen. But I was so thankful to have the opportunity to run with John McCain that I was not going to argue with the strategy decisions that some of his people were making regarding the media contacts?
But if I would have been in charge, I would have wanted to speak to more reporters because that’s how you get your message out to the electorate.
Sarah Palin, STFU. The biggest mistake they made was underestimating Barack Obama’s mass appeal. Adding you to the ticket was a close second.

Palin is a disgrace to real Republicans. I’m not a huge fan of the two-party system but anyone with some sense understands now that she shouldn’t even be a governor.
I don’t think that would stop me from chopping it though. I bet it’s good for chopping. But I digress… Palin is bad for government because she’s dumb and she talks in circles.

How can you ask to speak more when you were the down fall of the ticket..And when you did speak you didn’t say ***** worth listening to, calling Barack a terrorist, Bill Ayers Joe Six pack, Joe the Plumber, and being a mavrick which you clearly are not.

The mistake that was made was choosing such a feeble brained idiot to run against the ‘Golden Child’ Barack Obama. Couric tore a new azzhole in palin during that primetime interview and her image never recovered.
*****ody likes a ’social conservative’ but evangelical hookers, dehomosexulized bible bashers and saved ex-addicts.
The look on her face on 11/4 when it was announced that Obama had won the election and she and McCain had lost was PRICELESS. Now go and make some wolf stew biotchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I wouldn’t have voted for her, but she is correct.
the strategist pegged us as dumb right from the start, fortunately they shaped their strategy around that opinion.
She’ll never have my vote, but I have a lot of respect for her; just for the way she continues to handle herself through all of this.

I am not a Palin fan in the least bit (100% Obama), but the ho came a long way in a short amount of time.

The biggest mistake was choosing your backward country ***** in the first place! If he wouldn’t have a heart attack in the attempt, McCain would kick his own ***** for that dumb *****! Lets keep it real, if your were half of Hilary Clinton or Michelle Obama, McCain would have keep the lead he gained after the convention! White people would have done anything to not vote for Obama. Charlie Gibson & Katie Couric showed you up to be unsophisticated and uneducated about what’s happening in the world. You answered the questions stupidly, they didn’t trap your *****, you showed yourself to be unqualified!
Furthermore it was the ugliness that you allowed to take place at your rallys that showed your true character, them insulting Muslim Americans, using words like ***** and negro to allow people to shout “kill him” and you said nothing showed alot of Americans who you really were. Your comment was first and it was the best.
Palin’s problem is she doesn’t know how to speak well. She thinks too much while she talks and thus she “Rambles” (or as you put it so well, “talks in circles!”)
The McCain “handlers” saw this and tried to cancel the Vice Presidential debate because they knew she would look like a fool. It didn’t work. She still came out of the campaign looking like a fool.
The bad thing about it is, idiots like this seem to make strong come backs… We’ll see her again in 2012…
