Whitney Houston’s New Jersey mansion is slated to be sold at a sheriff’s sale because she is more than $1 million behind on the mortgage and taxes have not been paid this year, according to reports published Wednesday. The Jan. 4 sale was scheduled Tuesday by the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, the Daily Record of Parsippany reported. The service agent for Chevy Chase Bank, the mortgage holder, sued Houston in June.

We wrote back in September that the real reason Bobby didn’t put much of a fight to save the marriage was because Whitney and Bobby had recklessly spent and smoked a lot of the money up over the years. Well this looks to be the case. Whitney owns property in Atlanta as well and I wouldn’t bet on her losing the NJ mansion anytime soon. Whitney is currently hard at work on her new album with music guru Clive Davis. The comeback is on!

In Bobby Brown news, he is still partying it up in LA and was spotted with Macy Gray at the Dolce & Geisha House CD release party in Hollywood last night. Macy and Bobby looking busted as usual. Bobby definitely looking like he is smoking, drinking hard….something, look at those bloodshot eyes and teeth.
