Sam L is a perfect choice to play Sho-Gun. He’s gonna kill it but RiRi shouldn’t do it. They may need an unknown stunner who can act and actually sing and not through her nose. RiRi is pretty but she’s no Vanity. They may need unknowns for both Lara and Leroy because right now the pickings in black hollywerd are slim who could do it with great honor to the original and are hot to look at. The music would have to be hot too. I still listen to that soundtrack. DeBarge and Stevie, yall.

I love “the last dragon” so the remake needs to be on point. Rihanna would be a good fit, but the question is could she act and can she act well enough where her accent doesn’t show? I think Rosario Dawson or Paula Patton would be among the best choices for Laura. Lauren London needs help with her acting because she only fits well with playing the hood type of girl. She’s another megan good pretty much. Nick Cannon would be good for Leroy or Columbus Short.

I can’t come against this. Though I can’t see Rhinna acting, if she was to appear in this film this is how it should be done. It’s not a major role and just like Vanity she’s a mediocre singer. I love the Last Dragon and watch it over and over, but one thing can’t be argued the acting wasn’t the best. So this might be a good fit for her lol, I’m dying to see who they get to play Bruce Leroy, it will be hard to match him.

As for the part that Beyonce played in Cadillac Records…well i think without her, Mos Def, and the guy that played Lil Walter, the movie wouldve been worse than what it was. I think this role was new for her and she pulled it off well. It was kind of wack how they advertise so much of the movie suurrounding Beyonce, and she came in about 30 mintues before it ended, but o-well. Rhianna playing in The Last Dragon…i’m going to have to see this one.

The Last Dragon was a black movie cl*****ic. Samuel L. is way too old to play Sho Nuff. I’m thinkin Busta Rhymes. Sho Nuff has to be scary and crazy wit hair, and about his late 20s/early 30s. Christina Milian would probably be better than Rihanna. For Bruce Leroy it can’t be CB or Omarion or any of them. You need a brand new actor with martial arts skills.

She can’t be any worse than Vanity was. It’s the Last Dragon!! Even if it’s bad it will be good. Damn I love that movie!!

i’m seriously wondering if these foos who are saying rihanna would be “perfect” have actually seen this movie or have any real respect for it… there is absolutely NO WAY that she would do a good job… (and she is too tall) that chick has no stage presence whatsoever. she always looks like she’s doing a dress rehearsal whenever she’s performing…just marking her spots… like she’s not even really paying attention to what’s going on or acknowledging that there’s a real live audience watching her. i could however see christina milian doing it… but i’d rather have a talented unknown bust on the scene… there is a lack of black actors and actresses… they always rotate the same ones… that’s why it’s my life plan to be an actress after i retire… i’ll be the random black grandma in the movie saying snappy things and imparting wisdom to the main characters…

Okay, I know they wanna try and stick with the singer thing, but Rihanna, NO!!! They are only considering Rihanna right now because she’s what’s popular at the moment. Truthfully if you are going to do a remake of a shot in the dark cl*****ic like The Last Dragon, you have to bring it close to the original cast as possible, I guess with an up-to-date feel on it. There are some unknown black actresses that can sing or not but knock the part out. I think Christina Milian could really do a good job. Samuel is really not a Shonuff because he’s old number one and plus give someone else a chance. I just know he’s gonna over do it. I think David Banner could make a good Shonuff and Jenry Bejarano as Bruce Leroy. Look him up on google. He’s cute. It really shouldn’t be a remake but a sequel.

RIHANNA = PERFECT

She deserves the role in the movie. She is in the top of hottes singers(IN THIS DECADE by Maxim) in the world!

She is beautiful and sexy, in her music videos she is wonderful, the camera loves her! I’m sure that she will take acting lessons.
The role is not complicated! If she is in the film, all the people will want to see the movie!

Lauren london – Please, she is nothing! Only recogniza in the USA by the black movies!
She only can play the stupid ***** who go to the High school.

Christina Millian – She had her time a few years ago, but now she is a really simple actress!(Now she is not singer and ¿actress? she is out of the game)

Nicole(PCD)- She never would be an actress, she has nothing of talent, she is more like to play a reallity! She should center in take some vocal lessons!
As Keri H. First she need to be a real singer!

I saw Rhi in Bring it On: All or Nothing. The movie sucked, but she did okay as a judge. She made a cameo as herself, so no need to do any serious acting there. I think she will make as good a Laura Charles as Vanity, it’s not like Vanity(or the movie itself), was the portrait of serious acting in the first place.
