Heidi Klum Says She And Her Children Love Bodyguard Martin Kirsten

In a new interview with German magazine Bunte, the fashion mogul talks all about bodyguard Martin Kirsten – and gushes about how much her children, Leni, 8, Henry, 7, Johan, 5 and Lou, 3, adore him, too.

“They like him very much,” she says. “This is also one reason why I’m so fond of him. He’s been helping me for four years now. And he takes wonderful care of the kids. He plays with them, he protects them. I trust him.”

When it comes to her feelings, Klum – who filed for divorce from Seal after seven years in April – gets straight to the point.

“Ja! Ich bin verliebt!” she told the magazine, which translates to, “Yes! I’m in love!”

Until now, Klum, 39, has remained mum on the status of her relationship with the family’s bodyguard but insists it’s Kirsten’s decision to keep a low profile.

“Martin is not hiding,” she says. “He’s just not the sort of guy looking for the spotlight. He prefers to stay in the background. There will always be people who will criticize whoever I live with, what kind of clothes I wear or what hairstyle I have. At the end of the day, you have to do what makes you happy. That’s the rule I live by.”

Great, everyone loves Martin…except Seal. Wonder are the kids calling him “dad” yet? SMH
