A bum knee is keeping Andrew Bynum from playing basketball.

So he’s playing stylist instead.

The new Philadelphia 76ers center has sat out every game this season because of a knee injury that has required injections. He’s the team’s franchise player, and they traded several crucial parts including Andre Iguodala to get him from the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason as part of the four-team Dwight Howard trade.

Bynum has taken his time off in style. No one said good style.

For Wednesday’s game, in which his teammates lost 94-76 to the previously 0-8 Detroit Pistons, he went with the straightened look. We can’t help but wonder if the other 76ers were scared every time they went to the bench.
