Bogus Celebrity Racism ClaimsIsn't it great that we live in a post-racial America? You know how racism was supposed to die when Obama took office in 2008? Well, that didn't really happen. Actually, racism is still alive and well. And while there's racism all around us, sometimes it's just not there. There are plenty of people that claim "racism" when it's just not there. It's like they're using it to cry for attention. What? Celebrities crying for attention? You don't say? Let's look at some famous people that cried racism but it was all a bunch of malarky.
Michael Jackson - When his album tanked towards the end of his career, he enlisted Al Sharpton to lead an investigation on his label not pushing him because of race. It just seemed like a last ditch effort to excuse his poor sales.
Tyler Perry Fans - Every time someone says something bad about his movies his fans either say 1) you hate Jesus or 2) you hate Black people. Or maybe some of his movies are stupid.
Michael Vick - Last year he insinuated that race had something to do with refs letting the defense knock him the hell out. But you blame his offensive line for that.
Jeremy Lin - He just said that he didn't get a fair shake as a basketball player because he was Asian when half the craze came from his ethnicity.
Fox News - These butthurt clowns have been saying the reason Obama won was race. Basically any excuse they can come up with.
Mitt Romney - He claimed he'd have a better chance if he were Mexican. He'd also have a better chance if he didn't say things like that.
The Source - When an old video surfaced of Eminem dropping N-bombs, The Source claimed he was actually racist . But in real life, he was just a kid that did something really stupid.
Lil Wayne - When Rosenberg said that Nicki's "Starships" was BS, Wayne said race and sexism had something to do with it. We beg to differ.
