Keyshia Cole, Jamie Foxx, Plies, Anthony Hamilton, and Soulja Boy all dropped albums this past week:

Cole’s newest and third album A Different Me lands at no. 3 on this week’s charts, selling 322,000 copies, the best sales week of her career to date. Her 2007 album, Just Like You, also debuted at no. 2, but sold just 281,000 units.

Right behind Keyshia Cole is a new one from actor Jamie Foxx. His album, Intuition, scanned 265,000 units to put it at no. 3 during its first week. His previous album, Unpredictable, opened at no. 2 two years ago with 598,000 copies, but rose to no. 1 the following week.

Singer Anthony Hamilton returned to the charts with The Point of It All, selling 133,000 copies to put him at no. 12.

At no. 14 is Florida rapper Plies, and his third album, Da REAList, selling 114,000 copies This is Plies’ second album this year. In June, he released Definition of Real, which debuted at no. 2 with 215,000 copies sold.

That’s it for the top 20.

Later down the line, Soulja Boy Tell’em opens at a disappointing no. 43 with iSouljaBoyTellEm, despite launching his “Let’s Go Platinum In A Week Campaign” in November. The new album sold just 46,000 copies. His 2007 debut,, began at No. 4 with 117,000, thanks to the runaway success of his hit single “Crank That.”

Those aren’t bad numbers with the economy being the way it is. We know someone’s out there making that special edition, deluxe cd that includes all of the artists’ albums mentioned above, and we want a copy, minus the Soulja Boy. Much appreciated.

Keyshia Cole is Leading anything. Taylor Swift holds the top spot:

NEW YORK (Billboard) – Country star Taylor Swift began a third non-consecutive week at No. 1 on the U.S. pop album chart Wednesday, trumping big debuts from Keyshia Cole and Jamie Foxx, which opened at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.

Swift’s “Fearless” sold 330,000 copies during the week ended December 21, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Cole’s “A Different Me” followed with 322,000 copies, a career-best sales week for the R&B singer. Her 2007 album, “Just Like You,” also debuted at No. 2 but with 281,000 units.

Foxx’s “Intuition” shifted 265,000 copies. His last album, “Unpredictable,” bowed exactly two years ago, starting at No. 2 with 598,000 before rising to No. 1 the following week with 200,000.

The next four albums were each down two places on the Billboard 200: Britney Spears’ “Circus” at No. 4 with 196,000 copies, Beyonce’s “I Am … Sasha Fierce” at No. 5 with 195,000, Nickelback’s “Dark Horse” at No. 6 with 194,000, and the soundtrack to “Twilight” at No. 7 with 156,000.

Keyshia has worked very hard on her career, family and life so she truly deserves success. Unforunately A Hamilton is underrated and sales should pick up once the public hears his joint and realizes the he is The Truth!

So true! Anthony Hamilton has an AMAZING VOICE!! He is such a beautiful person…He reminds me of Al Green….I also wish he received more recognition for his work…Real Good Guy…

Congratulations, Keisha! I’m not a fan, but I like to see people succeed. You ‘ve had a heck of a struggle, good luck and MUCH success…
