donatella-versace

Here is your girl, Donatella Versace, showing off that dime body of hers while on vacation this week. It’s like someone put together some gumbo of everything that is wrong in the world and slapped it on ol’ girl’s bones.

Is that what you would call a “recession” looking body? Poor Thang.

  • sickofitt

  • dubya

Scary. Wow. I’m speechless. She looks totally unhealthy.

  • http://www.HerShoeAddiction.com erika

Oh no! How old is she?

  • MRSINTILLIGENT

Besides this would not even be an issue if women would just accept their beauty for what it is and if doctors would stop trying to play GOD. I feel like you should only get plastic surgery if you truely need it meaning for a serious matter only.

  • S&J

I just cannot believe black folks are bleaching their skin to look like this? I know there are sistas/brothas with beautiful light skin but black folks with darker skin need to LOVE IT. Dark skin is beautiful, it can NEVER look as raggedy as this ish right here. My God, I personally feel blessed to have dark skin I would never want white skin, the way it ages, HORRIBLE.

  • dubya

    MRSINTILLIGENT

    ———————————————–
Agreed 100%. I just hope you extend this sentiment to the sisters who like weave, contacts, fake nails, and the like. Is not that kind of like playing GOD too and not accepting their beauty for what it is?

  • MRSINTILLIGENT

Did you not understand all of my comment that’s why I stated WOMEN meaning in general not wht blk hisp etc…but WOMEN accepted their beauty it not be a need for the extra ish.

  • dubya

    S&J:

    I agree with you here!

  • MRSINTILLIGENT

excuse me i meant it would not be a need for the extra ish and again it’s not just sisters who were that but women.

  • MRSINTILLIGENT

    damn typos wear that

  • Kigali (Roughly 70% of USA Black females suffer from cognitive dissonance)

    @MrsInTelligent,

“kigaili well honey that’s not just a black thing that’s women in general.”

Yes, but when a black woman puts on her head, hair that doesnt match her natural texture and an eye color that isnt exclusive to her physio or phenotype, I must take a greater exception to the types of enhancements she manages. Black women generally dont have green or blue eyes, though there are excetions, and black women in general have a tight curl pattern to their hair. I dont see black women enhancing their natural features. In fact they are subverting their real features for another.

  • Another day

Horrible I’m pretty sure Gianni looks better than that

  • dubya

Great points Kigali, I could not have explained it any better.

  • Margo

    Like leth-ah!

  • MRSINTILLIGENT

So basically what your saying is it’s ok for wht women but not for blk huh…….. wth? Who is it more exceptable to non blks right yes well not in my eyes natural beauty outshines fake any day love who you are are no matter what race.

  • johnnie

you guys might want to do a retraction on this one cause Ms. Donatella is known for sueing over jacked up facts about her…im just looking out…..

  • Lils

    argghhhhhh….my eyes…

  • MRSINTILLIGENT

@kigaili ok well in that case what about when white women get lip injections to make there lips bigger or when they make their pale skin darker or get fake boobs or freeze wrinkles with botox i don’t feel like their enhancing their natural beauty but subverting it when blk women have those features naturally.

  • kelli the great

    Page 10

  • http://peppermill@hotmail.com mustard sauce the adopted sauce child

Agree Mrsintilligent.. they should love the way god made them and stop wanting what other people have like fuller lips, bigger butts and tanned sjin and uts funny because these are the same people that have always looked down upon but yet they want what features they have. I would never want that skin they have ugh it is so transparent and ages rapidly and so veiny!

  • Shani

    Kigali is full of trash.

When a blackwoman blow dries her hair with a blow dryer that is altering the natural state of her hair. Black people have all types of hair Some have hair that does not need relaxer and when blown with the dryer it is straight. Women of all races use a flat iron to get the straight look.

When a white woman washes her hair the natural state of her hair is frizzy and has to be blow dried and flat ironed to get the straight look that is so popular with black and white people.

WOmen of all races are weaving their hair. It is no more natural for a white woman to weave than a black woman.

So what if a woman wears arcrylic nails. It is just a way of adorning yourself.

Don’t criticize others if you want to walk around with no make-up, hair undone, and bare hands that look like a man. Females have been using accessories to enhance their appearance since B.C.E.

Kigali is a racist who is so small minded that she does not hesitiate to make disparaging remarks about black females.

  • Shani

Donatella has breast augmentation. She is certainly using enhancements. No comments about the rest of her.

  • Picante Sauce (The Retarded Stepchild of the Sauce Family)

Where tha hell is my family at? Hooodehooooo! Hooodehooooo

  • Sweet and Sour

    sauce family in the house

  • Sweet and Sour

i see we have some new additions to the family. did the sauce family board of trustees appove of you joining the family b/c i missed the last meeting due to being at a condiment convention in Las Vegas!

  • Kigali (Roughly 70% of USA Black females suffer from cognitive dissonance)

    @Shani,

Listen I dont care what emotional and pyschological acrobatics you have to do in order to justify your weave but again the vast majority of black people have tightly coiled hair. I said they were some exceptions but there is still a rule. You want to run away from the way God created you, thats your problem.

“Don’t criticize others if you want to walk around with no make-up, hair undone, and bare hands that look like a man.”

Who said anything about no make-up? Who said anything about hair that isnt done? Its interesting how you conclude that a black womans hair can be done in any other way except to put on a weave or wig. How pathetic. I can direct you to a website where you can see alot of beautiful natural hair styles that dont require you to put toilet cleanser on your hair, weaves, or wigs. Are you saying that any woman that doesnt have long as fake nails on their nails has man hands? Youre so stupid. Only ghetto trash does that.

“Females have been using accessories to enhance their appearance since B.C.E.”

You dont seem to understand there is a different with wearing a pair of earrings, some make up, with altering your natural hair or wearing blue eyes.

  • MRSINTILLIGENT

@Shani thanks for enlightning me I figured there was something shady about this broad.

  • Kigali (Roughly 70% of USA Black females suffer from cognitive dissonance)

    @MRSINTELLIGENT,

I am not convinced that big lips and a big butt is exclusive to black women. Look at Alex Wek. Everyone talks about how she supposedly has authentic African features but she doesnt have big lips or a big ass and most of her people probably dont have it either. The only thing that is really exclusive to black women or rather to black people, their hair, black females spend thousands of dollars trying to run away from.

In any event, for every white woman that does get lip injections or ass injections, there are a thousand black women putting toilet cleanser on their hair to make it straight, wearing weaves or wigs. So who is trying to be like who?

When white people or white women tan they arent trying to be black. They are trying to look like they spent their holidays in the Mediterranean. You ever considering that they were going for the Olive complexion and not the black one?

  • Kigali (Roughly 70% of USA Black females suffer from cognitive dissonance)

    @Shani,

I had to reread your comments. Some of it I find very telling about the pysche of black females and how they feel about themselves.

“Black people have all types of hair….”

Yes, but MOST black people have tightly coiled here and is pretty much exclusive to our race of people. Everyone in Africa outside of East Africa has that hair.

“Some have hair that does not need relaxer…”

Why would anyone’s hair need those chemicals? No woman needs a relaxer. They are so dangerous that the person applying the relaxer has to wear gloves. No thanks. I rather stay natural.

“…and when blown with the dryer it is straight. Women of all races use a flat iron to get the straight look.”

A flat iron is a temporary look. Nothing approaching the mental dependency black females have for their chemical alternations, weaves, and wigs.

“WOmen of all races are weaving their hair. It is no more natural for a white woman to weave than a black woman.”

Did you not read where I wrote about the natural texture of the most black people? Is it the same or different from the weaves that they use?

“Kigali is a racist who is so small minded that she does not hesitiate to make disparaging remarks about black females.”

I am racist for encouraging black women to wear their natural hair? Youre the racist one on here arguing that black women need a relaxer and denying the fact that most of our hair is tightly coiled and completely different from the weaves we foolishly put on our head.

Now go ahead and call me nappy headed. I love when black females call me nappy headed and with the same breathe call me a racist.

Cognitive Dissonance. Look it up sometime.

  • S&J

@ Kigali, I will admit some black PEOPLE still have that disgusting mentality that white is right but me, I am a Haitian American young women and I have dealt with that mentality before but as I grew older and began to see the truth, I AM proud to be a black women and yes, I do relax my hair not every month every two months, and yes I wear weave I am wearing weave right now but not to achieve a white look but to achieve a DIFFERENT look. No matter what you say, not all black women will rock their hair natural and its not fair to say the ones who don’t are whitewashed or WANT to be white. I don’t have the desire to be white although I can imagine how life is easier for white women because they don’t have so much exceptions to meet in their own community. Its crazy how in the black community, if you don’t do this or if you do that, you are automatically trying to be white.

  • http://peppermill@hotmail.com mustard sauce the adopted sauce child

whatever reason you say white women are trying to be like it is still the skin color that blacks have and it is not their natural skin color… what the heck black women can also say that when they straigten their hair they are trying to make it more manageble to comb nore smoother and not trying to be like white women but we know the truth on both sides> White women are not basically born with full lips and theres alway the exception to the rule like some black women have flat booties but we are talking the majority and you know and i know that the black woman has the booty and the lips… so no fronting.. hell years ago all the other races use to tease black women for their lips and butt and now they are trying to get them so anyway whatever.. be happy the way you are… the Dr’s always tell white folks they are risking getting skin camcer but do you think they care… they would rather look like a caribbean vacation.. but at least if i put on some weave it aint no risk in getting skin cancer or putting foreign plastic in my body to get big butts and lips!

  • S&J

And before anybody asks the reason why I wear a relaxer is because I FEEL PERSONALLY, my hair is easier to manage, I have the tightest coiled curls and natural hair asks for more money and more time. Yes, that is the oldest excuse but it is the truth for me atleast, I will rock my hair natural one day but for now I am not ready.

  • Kigali (Roughly 70% of USA Black females suffer from cognitive dissonance)

    @Dubya,

Thanks. You have to explain to me how these black females in here defend, to the death, their relaxed hair and their weave wearing. I think they are very uncomfotable with their own hair. Whats worse is that they believe that unless their hair is weaved or relaxed that it isnt done. I can show them so many black woman on places like You Tube that will show them step by step how to cop the dopest natural styles that look better than any wig or weave they staple on their head.

  • http://peppermill@hotmail.com mustard sauce the adopted sauce child

white women dont want oto admit they copy, but they will say oh we tan because it is nature that lets us tan under the sun , we are not copying black folks color… duh.. but then they turn around and say black women copy them with the color contacts… but we black women can also say oh ni we are copying trya banks, stacey dash, rhianna and other black women with green eyes and there are a lot of them .. so it goes both ways!

  • http://peppermill@hotmail.com mustard sauce the adopted sauce child

Sweet n sour and picante… sorry for the bum rush but i was not able to attend the sauce meeting so please bring it up at the next meeting that we have some additions to add to the family! thank you in advance!

  • http://peppermill@hotmail.com mustard sauce the adopted sauce child

Sauce family .. please bring it up at the next meeting that mustard sauce would love to join and i have my dues ready to pay for the new year!

  • S&J

    @ Kigali,

A lace front is actually very protectant of your hair. I think a lot of celebrities rock them because of how much heat and products have to touch their hair. I know a lot of natural women who rock wigs and lace fronts because they don’t want to wear a weave and stress their hair out. LOL @ finding a lace front on the street, I doubt that tho. Them suckas are EXPENSIVE, they run for hundreds of dollars.

  • Kigali (Roughly 70% of USA Black females suffer from cognitive dissonance)

    @mustard sauce,

Those are only a hand full of black women with light eyes and they got them from past miscegination. No need for black folks to be so desperate. Anyway a Spanish, French, Italian, serf would have looked just like Donatella without trying because of having to work on the lands of the nobles.

I think at the next Olympics, they should place a pack of 20” Indian Remy Silky at the finish line. I bet black females would be recorded as the fastest people on the planet. They would be faster than the cheetahs of the Serengeti.

  • http://peppermill@hotmail.com mustard sauce the adopted sauce child

Kigali.. i have a whole family of them with the light eyes and my sister has green eyes and she wear a fro so i know she aint trying to be white, but since we are on the subject i find dark eyes more beautiful and exotic so its all in the beholder> But like i stated if the Dr told me to keep my behind out of the sun for fear of cancer no way in hell would i be roasting for no darn mediterranean look. my health is worth more than a damn tan and at least us black women can pull our weave off> Plus my thing is white women wear fake hair also but they call it extensions.. give me a break weave extensions, clip on comb in glue in sew in .. its all fake hair!

  • http://peppermill@hotmail.com mustard sauce the adopted sauce child

Kigali… that was funny but you know not all black women wear weave.. some have their own long hair and a lot of black women are going natural and for the locs and twist that are natural and i have even seen some white women let their hair dread especially when they travel to jamaica… but for the record weave is not my thing either!

Yes, African women are terrible. They have no excuse because they live in a all black society but its the exportation of Western culture. Spending my time both in the US and the UK I didnt see as many weaves in the UK and even less of them on the African girls there. But the bleaching is serious.

  • The Hair Diva

    @ Kigali

I am shocked at your speech regarding black woman’s hair. I am a salon owner who has clients of all races.

Everyone who gets their nalis done is not trash. Women of all races get adhesives on their natural nails. The french pink and white is the most popular amongst all races. Airbrushed designs have taken a back seat.

It is unecessary to belittle black women for enhancing their appearance. Black people get all kinds of services done. I have clients with long hair, and people of your ignorance automatically assume it is a weave.

I have clients of all races who get hair extensions. These woman are not trying to emulate white women and the white women are not trying to be black. It is a growing trend amongst women. The hair styles for non relaxed hair are the same for chemically relaxed hair. It just takes longer to straighten, and it is harder to maintain.

The alternative styles for hair that is very kinky is afro, braids, dredlocks, or cornrows. That is not too much of a choice. people with this kind of hair prefer to relax their hair. There is nothing wrong with a relaxer when it is conditioned on a weekly basis.

I don’t know what your problem is against black women but, they have been straightening their hair with hot combs since the begining of time.

  • The Hair Diva

Furthermore, the products I use don’t come from a toilet. Maybe that is where your mouth belongs.

My products I use have natural elements that strengthen the hair and can be used on all races.

Get your facts straight before you start running your mouth about subjects you have no knowledge of, that is ignorance.

btw, Donatella need to try a wrap and cover herself. She look she should be basted and served at thanksgiving.

  • Whut??

As far as I can tell Black American’s have no real culture to follow in America. Everything that we are is a grab bag of different European cultures thrown together, mixed in with some slavery leftovers, because that’s all this race has known.

And yes I say Black American’s, because real African’s look waaaayyy down on this mess we call a culture.

Black America has no definition. It has no flag to return to. It has no definite look. It has no land BUT American soil, and our teachers didn’t look like us. Does that mean we form some culture around the tidbits we have left from our ancestors? I’m sorry, but we can plainly see it didn’t work.

I wish Kigali would define “Black American Culture” to me. She seems to have definite views on what it looks like to her, but I feel she is deceived into believing that what she see’s in her minds eye as some kind of culture for us, is really a made up lie.

I say put your weave in, get your nails done, and rock the green contacts if you like, because ladies, we as Black Americans are making this ish up as we go along…..and you know I am right.

  • Shani

    @ Whut

kigali’s definiton of Black culture is made up in her demented mind. I wouldn’t take anyone seriously who believes that marriages amnongst black people should be arranged since we are so called too dumb to chose out own mates. She is an asshol# who makes up her rhetoric as she goes along. what ever causes a stir on these boards is the way to go for her. What a waste of sperm and egg.

Thats what happens when these Hollywood types have money and can’t accept the fact that they will eventually get old and fat. They use their money to carve on their bodies, hoping it will keep them young. Unfortunately it never works–ask Mike Jack.

Makeup in which it has historically carried the direct duty to transform ugly people into beautiful ones, were born in Ancient Egypt about 5000 years ago. People of Ancient Egypt were able to make a powder giving a matte shade to skin and hiding its defects.

Naturally, such recipes were kept in the deepest secret. For a daily make-up, Egyptians used bright. Eyes were covered with a black powder, superscalar space was painted with copper or finely grated malachite. Historically, even before there was any influence of Caucasoids(for those who do not know what this mean…WHITES of European decent), “Women used whitewash in Ancient Egypt to make their faces white”.
Powders and ointments brought from Ancient Egypt were appreciated everywhere. Egyptians in turn taught Caucasoids, who historically came from the Greeks/Romans. The Romans also had their own recipes: they bleached rouged wine yeast, blackened eyebrows soot, widely used vegetable oils and animal fats as ointments. Some ointments carried out functions of spirits.

    Asians
Centuries ago, Chinese women used cosmetics sometimes without a measure. They skin often times were densely bleached.

Wigs/Added hair/braids (like the ones Cleopatra wore) were common and again, passed on to Caucasoids, who in turned taught Greeks and Romans, in other ancient cultures wigs/attachments of hair were worn including Assyrians, Phoenicians and in the Far East in China and Japan as a part of their traditional cultured formal wear. Later towards the 20th century, the Western culture (not BLACKS/AFRICAN AMERICANS) started wearing wigs, toupe’s (a French word) as a means of either compensating hair loss or improving one’s personal appearance.

So please STFU!……Historically makeup, wigs/weaves. skin bleaching, has been a part of human cultivation to apply this rituals or enhancements to their day to day lives….IT’S NOT A BLACK THANG OR A WHITE THANG…..IT’S HISTORICALLY A HUMAN THING!!! HOWEVER…I DO NOT AGREE ON THE SKIN BLEACHING ISH PAST OR PRESENT!!!

The only thing I will say in regards to Kigali, is the skin bleaching is F-up. I lived in London also for a while (my children where born in North London, and my ex and in-laws are from N.W.10 Area in London). There are way too many Africans and African Americans (Like Michael Jackson, Lil Kim to name a few) that need to stop with the surgeries and bleaching!!

  • MISSMILA

Donatella looks like a baked sweet potato with a pat of butter. This concerns me but obviously doesn’t concern her!

  • gails

@ ShavonDenise: if she goes out in public looking like that, then she deserves to be laughed at. Some bodies should not be on public display.

    @ Manhattan: Let’s be real–some dawgs will f*ck anything.

@ Apple Sauce: Trust me, it’s time for you ease up on the Vodka. Smoke a joint–at least it doesn’t cause delusions.

@ S&J: The “big deal” is the concern about the motivation behind wearing a weave and fake nails. Often the motivation is from self-hatred or self-doubt (i.e., doubting I’ll get a job if my hair isn’t straight). Yes, one problem is that we make grand and vast presumptions about women who ____(fill in the blank)________. I agree, it’s a dangerous type of group thinking–even when it is in the interest of helping black people deal with issues.

@ Kigali: I am getting ready to buy a wig. I have long dreadlocks and the wig is short dreadlocks. Trust me when I tell you the wig is rockin’ and I won’t be sacrificing the truthful way of living.

@ Redd Tony: A big thanks for the low down–it’s always good to know when a thread is being steered from the inside. Still, the thread was relatively interesting.

As granny would say, “She was rode HARD and put up wet!” What a mess!

  • africa is a continent people

@S&J ..I’m from Southern Africa and the movies you are watching are from Nigeria most likely where they have serious bleaching issues. I can speak for my region and say we dont have that issue as we have naturally occurring LIGHT SKINNED AFRICANS e.g the Tswanas, Suthus and Xhosas as well as the Nama peoples..my mom is one of them! SO please lets not get it twisted
@ KIGALI ..furthermore my ancestors have been braiding extensions since forever and using an ochre powder to give them a reddish tint. To braid they used horse hair and zebra tail so extensions have always been a part of our culture. Like I said this is SOUTHERN AFRICA. We as African people have a varied and rich culture that transcends all the trappings and BS that has unfortunately been wrought upon *on* black Americans! Oh yeah and Alek Wek is from Sudan , she is of Dinka. THey have been persecuted for centuries by Arabs and features objectified. ONCE AGAIN if you ask anyone who has been to South Africa, Bostwana, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Namibia…we have got that backside , those hips and beautiful lips so I havent any idea where you are getting your info from!

  • WTF?!

Please ladies. I can’t believe that we are sitting on this website going at each other’s throats over who wears weaves and who doesn’t, and what the mental reasoning behind a weave really is. Are you for real? This is the problem with Black people. We are always finding ways to cut each other down instead of accepting our differences and going along our own way.

Who cares if one sistah wears a weave and one wears their hair in locs? Really? WHO CARES!!?? Is that a reason to bring a sistah down? So what if some Black women want to wear their hair in weave? That’s their choice. So what if some Black women want to wear their hair in locs or in braids? That’s their choice.
Please Black people…rise above the ish that we’ve been indoctrinated with. There’s no reason why we can’t wear whatever we want to wear without having to be judged by our own race. Give it a rest for Christ Sakes!

Thank you… I was wondering how long before someone would say it…What does that have to do with who you are? I wear mine short, tapered cut, relaxer, yes, ashamed of who I am? ot even a little bit… I don’t care who does whatto themselves, if they are happy. I’m happy…she apparently likes plastic surgery…she looks dreid up ( almost like raw hide or tanned leather)…I feel sorry for her, the older she gets, the worse, it will be…She should probably be covered up to prevent sun cancer, especially at her age….but whatever, floats, her boat…She likes it , I love it! Like I said, she looks GREAT!!!:)

    bless her heart

ok i understand why white folk want to tan but this is over kill to the ninth power. and what happened with the lips? she can not possibly think she looks ok like this? but then again she is european, looking close to death is their version of looking healthy.the sad part of this is she sent her daughter to get treatment for anorexia…

  • marie

attention brothers! do not listen to the fool who tells you to leave the black woman alone…on second thought if you follow them, that person will deliver you to hell. in this country majority of blacks are mixed with something that started hundreds of years ago. if you fall in love with a woman of color except black then i a black sister is happy that you have found someone who loves you for you. i a black sister will support your choice. but if you “breed” with a woman outside of the black race just to have babies with long hair then your ignorance will come back to haunt you. and for this fools information all black woman hair will grow long, IF they choose to do so. black is beautiful and so is every other race. so be a man, make your own decision aka be a leader not a follower…especially when their is ignorance involved.

  • The Truth

Kigali is either a white man, a black man or a lesbian who was dissed by a sista. No one can show that much hate for a group of people like that. Hurting people hate people and want to hurt other people.

I’ll wear a weave if I damn well want to. I have no chemicals in my hair. Sometimes I want to change it up. You’re not paying for it, so what do you care? I’m sick and tired of this simple-minded people who try to tell me what being black is. Like they have some damn checklist. Sit your asses down. We are not a monolithic group of people. We come in all shapes, cultures, colors and sizes. Once black folks embrace our own diversity, the better off we will be.

  • Turquoise

This is not Donatella…. not even close. Google her and see how she looks now. She resembles a character from the Muppets!

    Hair Diva

I so disagree! I have natural hair and have rocked hundreds of different styles! why did black people want to getthe kinks out by in the days, to becme more accepted by black people. we were told that our hair was “difficult” and not aceptable! I have never seen a black person born with straight silky hair unless they are mixed. Straight hair does nor run in the african gene, it runs in eurpean and asian genes, so yes weave is a european thing. People think my hair is fake when I flat iron it because there is a ster type that black peoples hair don’t grow. Our hair grows just fine and stronger without all the chemicals up in it. isn’t it sad when you have a perm and you have to wash and condition it every week so your hair don’t start falling out because it’s been striped of it;s natural protein. I took that lye or lie like I prefer to call it out my head 5 years ago and now my hair hits pass my shoulders.
