More than 10 years after the death of group member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, the story of iconic girl group TLC is finally headed to the small screen.

VH1 is casting the roles of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, for a full-length TV movie based on the celebrated pop/ hip hop/ R&B group TLC. With a script by acclaimed screenwriter Kate Lanier (“What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “Set it Off,” “Beauty Shop”), the untitled film is slated to begin shooting in early 2013.
The two surviving members of the group, Chilli and T-Boz, have signed on as consultants and executive producers for the movie.
This should definitely be one interesting and highly-anticipated movie. Who do you think would nail the lead roles as T-Boz, Chilli and Left Eye?
