The Chicago Desire, of the newly formed Bikini Basketball Association has been disbanded amid sexual misconduct allegations. The team’s former majority owner and GM, Donovan Price has been accused of sexual misconduct with an unnamed player. It is currently unknown if these allegations have led to formal charges against Price. For a league that needs to be very conscious of any type of sexual scandal the league has taken swift measures including disbanding the team. In fact, the Chicago Desire is no longer mentioned on the league’s official website which is under construction right now.

The Bikini Basketball Association notified investors of the Chicago Desire that the team was being disbanded yet there was still interest in having a franchise in Chicago. However, the league cut out the original investors and have reportedly created the new Chicago franchise, with a new name and management. The new franchisee is the ex-wife of Eddy Curry, Korie Kellogg. Kellogg, who doesn’t have a wholesome reputation herself was arrested on charges of child abuse in April.

Joe Phelan, One of the Desire’s shareholders, has informed NoCoastBias they plan to file an injunction against the new team and a lawsuit against the league for fraud, wrongful termination, and misrepresentation. No public statement has been released by the league at this time.
