Jamie Foxx Defends Calling Obama Lord And Savior
Jamie Foxx quickly drew criticism from some Christians after he called President Barack Obama “our Lord and savior” during the 2012 BET Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas. The comedian recenly repsonded to the blasphemy backlash:
“I’m a comic [and] sometimes I think people get a little too tight. And, it’s getting a little tougher for us comedians [because] some people take it and want to make a huge story out of it, but it’s a joke.”
Come on, you all know that Jamie did not mean that literally. He is a comedian, if you claim to be a Christian you know who the Lord and Savior is. Lighten up people.
