The Roc-A-Fella Saga

According to Livesteez, a new documentary will take a closer look at the sour dealings between Damon Dash & Jay-Z:
Many have speculated on the breakup of the Roc-A-Fella camp, but Choke No Joke knows first-hand of what made this empire come crashing down.
The former BET producer and one-time Roc-A-Fella employee explores the infamous breakup of the Roc-A-Fella empire in his upcoming documentary. Choke has combined footage stemming from over a decade and turned it into a probing documentary called “I Am Choke No Joke”.
In the film, he offers his take on what caused the Roc-A-Fella fall-out. Choke hinted at a few segments that will be seen in his documentary and some of the main underlying issues that created the tension between Jay-Z and Dame, as reported by SOHH.com.
“Dame was a camera freak, he loved people to tape him ’cause he started thinking he was a star,” Choke explained. “Ever since the ‘Big Pimpin” video, he started gettin’ a little light and it started to get to his head.”
He also said Dame’s proclamation that Cam’ron would be vice president of the Roc, and the signing of Ol’ Dirty Bastard were among some of the events that caused tension within the camp. “Jay wasn’t feeling none of that sh*t.”Set to unload an overwhelming amount of exclusive, never-before-seen footage of some of hip-hop’s most memorable times, “I Am Choke No Joke” is currently scheduled to drop summer 2009.
This one makes our summer viewing list. Nothing beats a bunch o’ hip-hop moguls running around acting like a bunch of bitchy gaylords.

Jay realized just how obsessed Dame was with him when Dame scooped up his sloppy seconds—Aaliyah and wifed her. God bless the little angel. Hov actually liked the chick, but would never wife her cuz Chester had already been there, done that. When Dame broke that code, Jay finally realized what kind of ***** made dude he was dealing with. The rest is just icing.

Clearly we can see the story to be true and already knows how it played out. Jay-Z won because he used the business and made it work for him. Whereas Damon Dash was admitting to the public that he would love to do his cousin Stacey Dash during the making of Kanye West’s video.
I didn’t respect Jay-Z until he dropped Dash like a bad crack addict. He gave a great explanation on why he did it…basically they were heading into two very different directions. Not everyone is meant to be friends forever. Too bad it didn’t end amicably.

what kind of a *****ed up name is Choke No Joke. Second, if the film is about Jay and Dame, why would he put his silly name as its title??? From the title, it seems to be more about him than Jay and Dame.
I am in agreement with Jay, sometimes it’s best to go your separate ways, and as we can tell, Jay was the bread of the ROC.

Who really cares? Dame was a media w***** and jay was the money w***** the perfect marriage. They both got what they wanted out the deal. In the end Jay could do what Dame did but Dame could never be Jay cause he cant rap. That should have been in his mind since day one. But the mans ego was bigger than the door he walked through.
