Ok 1st…..
These people have to understand that FEMA assistance is only temporary. The people that were effected in Huricane Katrina are not the only ones that needed assistance especially for 3years. There have been people effected in other huricanes and natural disasters such as ; Rita, Gustavo, and Ike etc…that have proof that they lost everthing and are only asking to just get a little money to start them back off and they are being rejected and denied because they are still paying the bills for people that lost everything 3 years ago.

so where the f*k is the permanent solution you dicks. ya’ll talking bout 3 years they should be straight. how da hell are these ppl supposed to come up? they working to live they lost cars houses all possessions. if they spend trying to feed an clothe their families how are they supposed to come up w/ 2g’s on a deposit and first months rent? i cant imagine what the job market is like down there. some of yall need to be dropped off in the NO with NOTHING BUT THE CLOTHES on your BACK and we will see how fast you come up. you will be in the same situation they were in.

Ok folks. i gotta say something. I actually work for FEMA. and i will say that my agency is not perfect but you can’t believe everything the media tells you. we should know that by now. the media does not tell you that FEMA has teams in place BEFORE a storm hits. the media does not tell you we can’t do anything even tho we are there until the STATE requests federal assistance. there is a process that has to be followed so that the monies can be allocated. but while everyone is standing around bitching about how we suck, FEMA employees were there in the field with the community giving out our own food and water until resources arrived. FEMA is made up of a great bunch of people. if you want to place the blame on someone, look to our commander and chief. even tho you don’t know a lot about us, we can’t move until he says so.
and as far as housing, the community has always known it is temporary housing and were notified about the cut-off date, but they chose to ignore that and cry injustice. you talk about we don’t help, you should see the condition that these trailers come back in. that can’t even be used again for other disaster victims because dummies smear feces on the walls and tear up the inside. who lives like that? i will get off my soap box, but we have to take responsibility for ourselves.

This was temporary housing. They’ve stayed in this temporary housing for 3 years. Fema is not a mortgage company.

STOP LOOKING FOR HANDOUTS…….DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF FOR ONCE!
