Stedman was with Oprah on election night. When they showed a picture of Oprah leaning on some man’s back or shoulder Stedman was standing there almost next to Oprah. I remember thinking to myself why is she leaning on that man instead on leaning on Stedman.

Stedman has always been in the background when it comes to Oprah and Gayle so why should anything be any different now.

I think some people at Bossip are really stupid. Gayle and Oprah are best friends: heterosexual, friends. Why discredit a 30 year relationship by calling it something else? Is it so hard to accept that two African American women are close friends, get on well together and enjoy spending time together? Like millions of other men, Steadman understands this. Oprah is blessed to have a best friend AND a boyfriend. She is to be admired and respected, not unduly criticised.
