Well, high-level politicians are susceptible to political falsity, and most vigorously exert themselves to achieve incessant gain in terms of wealth or national strength. I think Governor Blagojevich’s administrating career has run its course. I’ve been watching the news, and I heard that the governor could be impeached and convicted by the Illinois legislature; I’m waiting to see how all of this will unfold.

Yes, I’m familiar with the account of Ota Benga, and the monkey house, controversial exhibit at the Bronx Zoo used to promote scientific racism or a so-called intriguingly, enthralling display under directorial supervision. I was under the impression that Eric Roth’s screenplay was nothing more than an adaptation of Fitzgerald’s fantasized manuscript (haven’t read it). But, I recently was imparted of the verifiable truth that a Curious Case character was indeed based on one of the tribe-mates. In my opinion, the life story of Oti was cinematically ‘camouflaged’ well.

Also, have you heard of Ota Benga? He was a Congolese pygmy who was kept in a zoo exhibit (I believe he was the inspiration for one of the characters in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button). There’s an interesting story about him in today’s Washington Post, washingtonpost.com, FYI. I would post the story link, but it didn’t go through.
