Personamagazine.net-The evolution of the sneaker game has taken what was once a small brand shared by a group of dreamers to heights beyond their wildest expectations. Being one of the Einsteins behind the Greedy Genius brand, designer Mikhayel Tesfaye, is defiantly going to make some waves in 2009. This young fashionista plans not only to expand the already famous Greedy Genius imprint but attack the global market with his new brand called Passport.
This new era of male fashion has taken them into a area of f*ck a thug, with loud colors and other accessories deemed non “gangsta” incorporated into hip-hop styled gear. Ludacris, the late Pimp C, Lupe Fiasco, and Tre Songz are some of the supporters.
Other young designer’s of the same ilk are Dee and Ricky (who colab with Marc Jacobs), and Javier Laval with his new line, Android. They are up and coming in 2009. Do your thing young, black fellas.
(Just so you don’t forget, Mikhayel, that’s a size 11, big dog…we’ll be waiting LOL)
