If you remember that commercial then good. The young man featured has grown in the last 2yrs, and his line, Greedy Genius, is what the youth and skater demographic are wearing.
Personamagazine.net-The evolution of the sneaker game has taken what was once a small brand shared by a group of dreamers to heights beyond their wildest expectations. Being one of the Einsteins behind the Greedy Genius brand, designer Mikhayel Tesfaye, is defiantly going to make some waves in 2009. This young fashionista plans not only to expand the already famous Greedy Genius imprint but attack the global market with his new brand called Passport.
This new era of male fashion has taken them into a area of f*ck a thug, with loud colors and other accessories deemed non “gangsta” incorporated into hip-hop styled gear. Ludacris, the late Pimp C, Lupe Fiasco, and Tre Songz are some of the supporters.
Other young designer’s of the same ilk are Dee and Ricky (who colab with Marc Jacobs), and Javier Laval with his new line, Android. They are up and coming in 2009. Do your thing young, black fellas.
(Just so you don’t forget, Mikhayel, that’s a size 11, big dog…we’ll be waiting LOL)

I been in love with bossip for ever. Now they have FASHION….Smart move. It would be exciting to see some more fashion daily it’s refreshing to build the hype on people and not just brands. Getting an in depth look on a designer is very cool.Who ever came up with “Saturday Style” Should be rewarded.

Iam a model here in L.A. and I love that Javier is doing his thing he doesn’t know me but I go t his events in L.A… So he’s real offical. I love “Saturday Style” is a breath or fresh air. Its fashion and style I can relate to. Thanks Bossip.

It clothes from mikyeahloied (whatever his name is) are ok, nothing that is not being done already. But he is black. Besides that, Nothing special. Good ***** on Sat Style though.
Lets also give credit to Burrell Communications; one of the leading African-American advertising agencies. They created that ad that helped spring the underground talent. We need more ad agencies like Burrell to show support and help major players like Toyota to feature the talent on their commercials….
