C-Murder Gets Another Trial Date

Percy’s little brother and Monica’s former fiance C-Murder will go to trial again on February 11, 2008 for his second-degree murder charge. 36 year-old Corey Miller is accused of shooting a teenager to death at a night club back in 2002. Steve Thomas, who was said to be a big fan of C-Murder, used a fake ID that night to get into the club to see him perform.
Miller was convicted of the crime back in 2003, but was tossed after State District Judge Martha Sassone found that prosecutors withheld criminal background information on witnesses from Miller’s attorney. If convicted this time around, C-Murder will face life in prison.

I really don’t think he did it. There are so many things we never knew about Corey. He just visited a college in Utica, Mississippi and he had a lot to say. He’s not as thugged out as you all may think. He is intelligent, he was an honor student in school. He is a really good guy who was having fun with the wrong folks at the wrong time. He probably was all for shooting at the club but I don’t think he meant for that child to die-maybe a grown man, but not a child.
But I wonder what happened to the other brother, silk the shocker is it?? He just fell all the way off.

Whether he is guilty or not, I feel bad that he has to go through all this for something that happened four years ago…I was reading on Global Grind.com that he was tried for 1st degree murder, then for 2nd degree murder, than his case was thrown out because criminal background info on the witnesses was withheld, and now this..

What about what the family of the murdered young man? It would seem to me that they received a life sentence.
My nephew was killed in Baltimore just over a couple of years ago–he answered his door and in that instant, his life was snuffed out and all in the name of a home invasion which probably netted no more than a few hundred dollars in goods taken!
That was two and 1/2 years ago but the pain (especially for my brother) is as fresh as if it happened this morning!
I really do respect your opinion. However–if he did it, whether it was 4 years ago or 40 years ago–he should pay!
