I hope that black women one day will understand that we should not just limit ourselves to black men; they have not limited themselves only to us. And we should not define our worth by their feelings and opinions of us. I do not have the time or inclination to care about what anyone thinks of me and most of these black men are no “brothas” of mine, anyway. “Brotha” denotes a familial connection based on shared experiences and mutual concern and respect, which has been sorely lacking lately. The world is biiiiigggg and full of men who will find you beautiful and worthy. Should that man be black…so be it. If not, at least he will love and take care of you as you deserve.

I think the brothers have no love for Whoppi! She is not the only one. Many black men place a premium of white women, how they look, how they think the women act, the fact that the look “cute in the morning” ( one guy I know said that) Black women learn early on they will never be “Blonde” the standard of beauty so please don’t hate on Whoppi for simply trying to have a life..
