Camp Hudson Stomps Out Rumors

Word is, Jennifer Hudson will not be performing at Obama’s historic Inauguration:
Jennifer Hudson’s aides have dismissed reports the grieving star will sing The Star-Spangled Banner at U.S. President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration.
Rumors suggested the Oscar winner would make her first public appearance following the triple murders of her mother, brother and nephew in October, at Obama’s big party later this month, but her rep insists, “There is no truth to this.” She suggests Hudson became a front-runner to perform simply because she sang the U.S National Anthem the night Obama accepted the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.
As it stands, Hudson is still scheduled to make her first public appearance next month when she pays tribute to Neil Diamond at the MusiCares Person of the Year event in Los Angeles – on the eve of the Grammy Awards. She’s also expected to attend the Grammys themselves; Hudson was nominated for several Grammys for her self-titled debut album.
We’re sorry to hear she won’t be there, but we’re still looking forward to seeing JHud on stage at the MusiCares event. On the real, she should take her time retuning to the spotlight, stress and grief are a dangerous combo.

I’d also like to see Beyonce perform. However, even if she doesn’t, I’m sure he’ll make a good choice in choosing someone worthy of being a part of such an historic event. I mean he’s made good decisions thus far. With that being said, take your time Jennifer and our prayers are still with you

If you don’t believe it, listen to her sing live. Its funny that she can only carry a note when she is in the studio.

Sorry ladies and gents, but with this inauguration being a first for African Americans as well as the whole world watching, I luv me some Beyonce, but I honestly believe Alicia Keys should be the one to represent us. Ms. Keys can sing her butt off. Not to mention she has nothing but grace, elegance, and cl*****.
