New York Subway Pusher Admits To Killing Man Over Lost Boots
The Times Square drifter, who admitted he hurled a man to his bloody death on the subway tracks, says he lost his cool because someone trashed his Timberlands, according to newly filed court documents.
Naeem Davis, 30, also callously told authorities victim Ki-Suck Han “rolled like a bowling ball” when he fell into the tracks as a downtown Q train roared into the W. 49th St. station in early December.
Davis explained he was still seething because an acquaintance threw away his treasured Timberland boots two days prior, so his “head wasn’t where it was supposed to be that day,” court papers say.
“(Han) came at the wrong time,” Davis said of the 59-year-old Queens dad.
The documents were filed at the admitted pusher’s arraignment Tuesday in Manhattan Supreme Court. He pleaded not guilty to second-degree manslaughter and first-degree manslaughter.
Davis said he had been sent downtown to restock merchandise for clothing street vendors he worked for in Times Square, saw Han jump the turnstile. Then Davis said the intoxicated man went ballistic on him.
According to Davis, Han said, “I’ll kill you!” and proceeded to follow him on the platform.
But the strapping brute admitted he didn’t really think the “diminished” man was capable of killing him, was “pretty sure” Han could not have even hurt him.
Davis repeatedly asked law enforcement to cut him a break and charge him with manslaughter, apparently to dodge a potential life sentence.
“I’m really sorry this happened, really sorry. Do you think I can get a manslaughter charge?” he begged cops at the Midtown North Precinct.
The hell makes you think that you deserve leniency sir?!?!
“There was no other way to prevent injury to (Davis) except by pushing him on the train tracks with an oncoming train coming?” asked judge Bonnie Wittner.
Translation: “Ho sit down.”
Your Honor…please throw the book at this a$$hole!!!
