Republicans Threaten To Impeach President Obama Over Gun Control Issue

Newly re-elected President Obama hasn’t even been officially sworn in for his second term yet and already host of salty right-wing ramblers are coming together in hopes of getting him kicked out of office because they can’t have their way with regard to the crackdown on gun control.

Rep. Trey Radel (R-Fla.) became the second House Republican this week to suggest that President Barack Obama could be impeached over his executive actions on gun violence.

In an interview with conservative blog “The Shark Tank,” Radel, a Tea Party-backed freshman, argued that impeachment should be “on the table” as a measure to combat what he characterized as an overreach by the president.

“It is one of those times in our history, we are at this breaking point,” Radel said. “We have completely lost our checks and balances in this country, the Congress needs to hold the president accountable for the decisions that he’s making right now, and that why again, I would say that all options should be on the table.”

In his comments, Radel joins fellow Republican congressman Steve Stockman of Texas, who on Monday made a threat to file articles of impeachment against Obama, calling the president’s then-unknown actions an “existential threat to this nation.”

These fools couldn’t be more transparent…..or more thirsty to get back in control of the White House.
