What’s wrong with his comment. I don’t understand.

LOL, I can’t believe some of you are actually comparing Spike with TP. Don’t get me wrong, TP’s screenplays are okay, but his films are for mere profit, while Spike’s joints are more so thought/conscience provokers. I will not even elucidate about cinematography and Spike’s grasp of the 180 degree rule. Sigh… I know, I’m partial.

Hey MISSBK, Tyler Perry’s movies are coonish and you know it. His portrayals of black folks aren’t as complex as Spike Lee’s. I support Tyler Perry, but please don’t put those two directors in the same sentence. It insults Spike whose movies that shed light on issues like Katrina (when the levees broke), or corporate greed (She Hate Me), and interracial relationships (Jungle Fever).
Tyler Perry very much does ham it up for Hollywhite, he makes black folks look like fools. Just look at those tv shows Meet the Browns & House of Payne.

“Uncle tom with his movies”…wow. Summer of Sam just didn’t work out well for him.

Anyway, Spike’s cool with me and this article was not that serious. The comments were Bossip’s attempt at humor which often involves…EXAGERATION. The point was this …”WTF you mean rich rich cause most folks, black and white, aint got Spike Lee money.

Anyway, We need to stop pigeon holing each other while ya’ll are raggin on Bossip. I’ve never been to a site where the posters use the word “*****” more in the comments than on Bossip. Ya’ll are the ones that need to get it together.
