In these days of media training and artists with very little to say- you have to love Lil’ Wayne. Ask him a question and he’ll give you an answer. In a recent interview the 26-year-old was asked if he would have entered a talent show like X-Factor and the rapper didn’t pull any punches.
He said: “That seems so fabricated, to get up in front of judges who are first thinking about being on TV as celebrities”. It certainly seems the rapper’s beef is more with Simon Cowell and his fellow judges than contestants like Alexandra Burke, adding “they [the judges] have their own celebrity and I wouldn’t want to be up against that. They can’t be totally focused on observing your talent”. 2008’s top lyricist signed off reality TV in his own unique style, saying: “I would rather go through all that out in the world”.
The hot boy makes a damn good case here. These silly shows are really a bunch o’ bullsh*t. As if anyone really cares about talent anyway. Weezy’s success pretty much demonstrates that point.

Even though I’ll admit that finding lasting talent on these shows is difficult, they have produced a few major artists, including Leona Lewis, Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, and Kelly Clarkson…everybody has to get there start somewhere.

I disagree with him. I don’t know about X Factor, but on Idol the audience picks the winners and we/they don’t care what the judges want. Some of the winners have gone on to be big stars so clearly it is just another viable avenue into the industry.
What ironic is that, it took him 12 years to be hot. and rappers saw him as what he see’s X-Factor, a gimmic.

Alexandra Burke was a shoe-in after she got to perform with Beyonce on X-Factor. Of all the finalists she got the biggest international star. However, I hope B got paid a lot to do her 1 song, because Alexandra behaved like a fan, crying and riding B’s ****, it was embar*****ing (sorry to be vulgar). This programme is so manipulative.
The Hood Girl Contestant Rachael was a car crash. But I am fed up of the contestants’ “journey(s)”, their “you owned it”, their “I am blessed’s” etc.
Leona Lewis is bland.

Don’t be too excited about the prediction about the Eagles. I promise you that they win, in surprising fashion too I might add. But Donovan “Almost” McNabb will be blown away by the Panthers next week.
yeah, I really put a lot of “thought” into the Storm role and everything. I think a lot of people sleep on the “other” Vanessa and she fits all the requirements of Storm. Dark, attractive, regal, well spoken… Of course she would NEVER get the role.
Wanye is not lying…it is just to be on tv. Simon said recently that when he had britney spears on his show has a guess artist there was a media frenzy; so he would love to have her back again. Really? SMH this was the same man who was bashing Britney saying that she had no talent and Christina Aguilara is better than her. He obviously only cares about the ratings for his “reality show” but to be fair the contestants benefit in the end.

Two factors…
1. No, Plexico means the Eagles can stop the run and Eli won’t have a “big play” threat to stop them.
2. The Giants defense isn’t particularly strong… just good on the p***** rush. Which we know Donovan is good at escaping.
Don’t know if you are a gambler but don’t bet on the Giants.

I agree with Weezy for like the first time. Those judges are there to get paid and for fame. Randy simon and especially paula have no talent in the singing department. How can they crtique someone else’s gift. I have heard excellent singers on American Idol and they were insulted just because simon or randy was in a bad mood, or felt like being negative that day. Simon even told jennifer Hudson that her dress was ugly and she needed to lose weight which had nothing to do with her talent.
