Obama

Before Obama, brothas were only allowed to be President in movies where the world ends. No Gabby Sidibe-sized asteroid headed toward Earth, no Black President. And that’s cool, because they paved the way for a real life H.N.I.C—our 44th President (2 Termz!) and commander-in-chief Barack Obama.

Here are the top 10 Black Presidents in America’s very white Presidential history. No, Bill Clinton isn’t on this list. Take a look.

President Barack Obama

The leader of the free world wears star spangled du-rags to bed and listens to Jeezy. Impossibly-cool, President Obama stands on the shoulders of civil rights legends as the face of Dr. King’s beautifully-progressive dream. Pay homage.

palmer

David Palmer, “24”

President Palmer helped America fall in love with the idea of a Black President during the most stressful Presidency in TV history. Strong in the face of chaos, he’s easily the best Black President to never exist in real life.

Black Bush, “Chappelle’s Show”

Dave Chappelle was the ratchet Head of State Obama could never be in this Top 3 “Chappelle’s Show” skit that’s just as hilarious today as it was a decade ago.

debo

President Lindberg, “The Fifth Element”

In the 23rd century, “Debo” is President (of Earth) and “Smoky” is a glittery combination of Little Richard and Lady Gaga. More entertaining than terrible, “The Fifth Element” is easily the best/worst Sci-Fi movie ever.

Morg

Tom Beck, “Deep Impact”

Morgan Freeman always either wakes up as God or the most important man alive. In this movie, he’s President for 45+ minutes before the Earth explodes. Once you’ve seen this, you’ve basically seen every doomsday flick.

Danny

Thomas Wilson, “2012”

That awkward, yet hilarious moment when “Mister” from “The Color Purple” is President in modern day America and the world “ends.” To this day, it’s unknown why Danny Glover starred in this movie.

Elias Martinez, “THE EVƎNT”

Blink and you missed NBC’s colossal flop about a Puerto-Negran (or Blaxican) President (Blaire Underwood) caught up in some kinda alien-related Government conspiracy/assassination plot. Or something. But yea, this show “never happened.”

rock

Mays Gilliam, “Head of State”

There was a funny comedy somewhere in this criminally-lazy flick about a Black man’s unconventional rise to the Presidency. How a movie about Chris Rock as President could be this corny and forgettable, no one will EVER know.

terry

President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho, “Idiocracy”

Five hundred years into the future, the dumbing down of society has made everyone (on Earth) incredibly-dumb. So, naturally, the least dumbest man (Terry Crews) alive is President. Opening weekend at box office: $177,559. No, seriously.

Hanson

Jon Hanson

What if we told you the first Black President was a Moor named Jon Hanson selected by Congress under the Articles of Confederation (1781) to lead the country before the U.S. was an actual nation? Some say it’s a myth, others believe it. Research it for yourself.
