Fruit Only Diet For Steve Jobs Biopic Sent Ashton Kutcher To Hospital

In order to get ready for his role playing Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2011, Kutcher adhered to the same fruit only diet that Jobs supposedly followed.

But while preparing to film scenes for ‘Jobs,’ which premiered at Sundance Friday, the strict fruitarian regimen landed Kutcher in the hospital with serious pancreas problems.

“The fruitarian diet can lead to like severe issues,” Kutcher told USA Today.

“I went to the hospital two days before we started shooting the movie. I was doubled over in pain.”

“My pancreas levels were like completely out of whack. It was really terrifying, considering everything.”

‘Jobs,’ which is due out in April, has been criticized by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak for veering too far from the truth.

“Totally wrong,” Wozniak commented about a clip from the film on Gizmodo.”I’m not even sure what it’s getting at.”

Maybe this guy should stick to doing comedy? SMH
