Betcha Breezy regrets some of those gay slurs he was spitting on Twitter now… In light of Chris Brown’s past criminal record and use of gay slurs on Twitter and elsewhere, the investigation into his fight with singer Frank Ocean could potentially result in hate crime charges as well.

BOSSIP reached out to the LAPD regarding how such a scenario could play out:

“It would be investigated as a battery, but it could be treated as an assault with a deadly weapon,”Officer Lyle Knight told BOSSIP. “In the process of the investigation they would also decide whether it’s a hate crime.”

The officer went on to say that depending on the severity of the victim’s injuries, charges could include assault with a deadly weapon.

During their investigation officers are bound to find the litany of gay slurs Breezy has publicly used in past confrontations.

All we can say is… he better call GLAAD and start begging right now!
