I am sorry but the show was very boring. I was hoping that it would be more entertaining but maybe later in the show it will get good. I am glad that they are showing a more positive side to African Americans. (seeing that we have seen our fair share of our people acting a fool on tv. Remember New York, Flav,Chance and Real.) Sad for me to admit but the drama is sometimes more entertaining. And am I the only one who thinks that there cousin might be a lesbian. When it comes down to it immaturity and irresponsibility is what leads to single baby mama’s and diseases. Sex is only the vehicle that get’s you there. There are plenty of households where the parents are not married. There are plenty of people f#cking that don’t have kids or diseases. Yes abstinence will keep you away from babies and STD’s but so can a mature mindstate. Believe me I had my first child this year at 28 and I’ve been f#cking for a very, very longtime. I don’t recall her saying she was a virgin. She said she was waiting until marriage. Well, it’s true that there are beautiful women with low self-esteem, and, yes, a number of them are mistreated, get involved with unfaithful men, etc. It’s about what you will allow.

When you do such a study the *****yzer’s behind it don’t include the many different nuances that would lead to such dior and self-destructive results for each of these individuals. Confession: I was treated the worst by a man who complimented me repeatedly on my physical appearance (he also told me about his past relationships with very attractive women — particularly the ones he dated in school as an athlete — most of whom he wound up mistreating).

He even asked me if I was mixed (he had an issue with color as well). His thoughts on my looks meant nothing when it came to how he treated me, and beyond the physical intimacy, there was no real connection.

Being “pretty” was no shield from getting my heart broken.

I’m not trying to be vein or anything. I described my background because you know how us as black people are obsessed with what some of us are mixed with. So I just used myself as an example because of the treatment that me and my family receives. My grandparents would not say anything for years because I guess back in the day my family was not accepted by any race so they would only tell us that we are black. But through the years growing I got tired of people asking me what am I? So after irking my grandparents long enough about a year ago they finally spilled the beans.

Yeah, I’ve been there before. I think one of the best policies is to take your significant other home to meet your parents. What The *****??? To be honest, she’ll probably never be in a committed relationship! She’s going to make herself miserable because either she’s going to make one of the two choices:

1.) Get married sooner than later and find out that’s not the person she wants to be with forever!
2.) Continously be dumped because she don’t want to please her man’s sexual appetite.

I just suggest that she get married quick because no one is going to be faithful and committed for too long! (Whose going to wait for years for sex! LOL)

When you’re in a relationship apart of missing someone comes from that good loving that they give you…other things are major factors as well but come on this is 2009!

If a guy dumps her because of sex than he is not her soulmate anyhow. The quicker he’s gone the better. Who wants to waste a whole lot of time with the wrong person? If you have to have sex with someone just so that they will date you than that person isn’t worth dating. By the way, who said anything about years? The only people I know who date for years and years outside of high school and college are people who are not with the right person.
