Ohio Man Attacks Ex-Girlfriend In Court Over Restraining Order
Via NewsNet5
A woman attacked by her ex-boyfriend in a Summit County courtroom has been granted a civil protection order.
According to Susan Tucker with Summit County Domestic Relations Court, a civil protection order was granted and filed Tuesday in connection with the case of the 28-year-old woman who was knocked to the ground and punched in the courtroom last Friday.
The woman was seeking that order before Magistrate Tracy Stoner when she was attacked by 30-year-old Rashad Greene.
Tucker said Greene can’t have any contact or harass his ex-girlfriend for the next five years. He must also stay 1,000 feet away from her.
If Greene violates the terms of the order, he can be charged with a felony.
Video from the incident shows the victim, whose name we aren’t releasing, shoved to the floor and punched several times before Greene was zapped with a Taser by a bailiff who is also a special deputy for the Summit County Sheriff’s Department.
If the judge had any doubt about whether or not to grant the restraining order she all the evidence she needed right before her eyes after this.
