At least some folks in Hollyweird care about the kids! BET.com is airing a recent Town Hall on the importance of educating our youth.
On January 24th, 2013 Spelman College played host to a rousing conversation between a number of entertainers and educators, including BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” star Boris Kodjoe, his wife, actress Nicole Ari Parker, Grammy award-winning artist Rozonda “Chili” Thomas, Spelman College President Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, and Box Tops for Education Brand Manager Tommy Hillman. MSNBC Contributor and Executive Editor of Politic365.com Jeff Johnson moderated.
Viewers will hear Boris and Nicole reveal personal challenges regarding parenting and ensuring their children receive the best education while Chilli encourages parents to value education as opposed to purchasing material items for their kids.
You know Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker know what they’re talking about since they’re raising two precious lil girls in their own home…
