What does it matter what the mother looks like she is about to be pay and I wonder what made her go to Christ Hospital I’m from Jersey City and the building inside and out looks like it can from a Nightmare on Elm Street movie and the materiny ward is small dont have bathrooms in the room everyone shares a shower in the hallway and the rooms are tiny she shouldnt never went there in the first place she isnt going to get a whole lot of money cause the hospital looks broke and condemn anyway !!!

umm. fishy. If it was stillborn and not classified as human why is there a death certifcate. thats means it was regconized as a human right. they should just get the check book out cause ole girl gonna get some chippers.

In ANY profession, you are likely to have SOMEONE who’s HEART is not in what they do, only but for financial stability. However, as a 26 y/o Registered Nurse myself, I cannot understand how anyone (especially nurses) in the healthcare field not have compassion for people. Compassion and helping make a difference is the sole foundation of the nursing profession, and is the primary reason why “I” decided to have a career in the field. It is the most stressful job I have ever had, but it is SOOO rewarding. I understand that you did say “most,” but perhaps you should have said “some.”

This story is very disturbing and heartbreaking. However, I’m positive there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, in some form. Even if NJ law does not recognize a stillborn fetus as a human, it was still the property of the mother. Therefore, I’m sure if they pursue legal action it will be successful. May God bless them.

This is sum bull i was with shawty when she was pregnant the baby was kickin and everything, she was not a smoker not a drinker and that was not her first child. Therefore she did the whold doctor visits and eveything. what it boils down to is the fools fu**ed up big time. I think some one either a) took the baby or b) they kept it to perform test surgeries on if he did die. EITHER WHAT YOU DO IN THE DARK ALWAYS COME OUT IN THE LIGHT! GOD REST THE DEAD!!!

“New Jersey law does not recognize stillborn children as humans”.?!!! what the hell?….so when it was inside the moms abdomen i guess it was a alien….thats just crazy az hell!….i’m almost ashamed to say i’m from that place! just no dayum respect….i hope they can sue the hell outta the state!

1) I dont trust doctors, nurses, lpn’s, and the like. Most are in it for the money and dont care about people, period.

2) How you can NOT differentiate between throwing out (just to say) and a dead body of a baby?

I’m an RN and we are not “just in it for the money” I know hundreds of great nurses, this story has NOTHING TO DO with nursing care. IT’s the administration of the hospital. DOCTORS AND NURSES DO NOT MAKE THE CALL as to WHEN the baby is taken from the morgue and WHERE the body goes.
