I don’t think most black women care if a famous black man dates or marries a white woman. I think the only thing that upsets some black women is when black men that date interracially feel the need to put DOWN black women. Wesley Snipes made some disparaging remarks about black women in a magazine and Taye Diggs did the same thing a while back. I think those kinds of black men that feel the need to put down black women are the ones that piss black women off.

The reason black women don’t care about Seal and Heidi Klum is because it does seem their love is real and genuine. Heidi and Seal are also NOT Americans they are both from Europe. Seal is a Nigerian/British and Heidi is a German woman. I think interracial romance in Europe isn’t so littered down with all these race issues as the USA. Also, I think its offensive the way how the black men are generalizing here because when Venus Williams and Halle Berry started to date white men black men were the first to complain.

OK I am a white female. I am not stereo-typed as a wannabe, I have a diverse set of friends, however most of them are black. My family is a mix of asian, african american, west indian, and hispanic. I’m not sayin this to make a point, but it is sad when people make generalizations about other people. If I were to just be walking down the street I would be generalized as well. As would some of you I’m sure. But since none of us like to be generalized, then why do it? I have my own money, I DONT go around giving head, I dont pay anyones bills, I dont have my hand out, I love black PEOPLE, I know all black men are NOT well endowed and some dont know what they are doing in the bedroom at all, and i also know other white females that are similar to myself. I know women of all nationalities that are ignorant and trashy, and women of all nationalities that are classy. I am proportioned and have wide hips and a big butt and based on some of the things I read on this site its as if If i was seen walking down the street it would be assumed i bought my ass, i was white trash, or hated black women and was simply after the black man for sexual purposes. I’m sure I’m going to be attacked for having the audacity to speak my mind, but guess what. I dont care. I just dont think some of what i’ve read are wrong. BUT before you attack me dont bring up Jena 6, dont bring up all the other examples of injustice or prejudices that have been put on african americans. because that is NOT my point and i’m not debating that. wrong is wrong, right is right. Do unto others. I am not a bad person, my mother is not a bad person, so just remember you dont want to be insulted and degraded and just maybe other people dont want or deserve it either.”

I agree with everything you said and I do know about that because I am happily married to a white man who treats me like the queen my black father raised me to be.I’ve dated black men and I have love for my brothas,I fell in love with my husband for the person he is and not because of his skin color and out of that love came two beautiful children.Yeah I’ve dealt with some of the same narrow mindedness that some of the people on here have,the stares,the whispers but do I give a damn? Hell No! I married a man that respects and loves me in the same way that I do him,what anyone else thinks does not matter.I say good for them if they were able to find love with each other and have a beautiful family,who cares what their skin color is.Instead of wasting time wondering why is this black man with this white woman,live your lives and find some happiness of your own,if it happens to be with someone of a different race,so be it.What they do in their lives is no ones business but their own,so why judge them? worry about what’s going on in your lives and find the love that you need and deserve.And di anyone else notice that all the posts were positive untill one person came in and stirred the pot? We know she’s not after Seal’s money, she has her own. She could have been with anyone, but is with him, and unlike a lot of the white females I see with brothers, she looks as if she will actually try to get along with black women, and not act like she is intolerable of every black person except for the black man she is with. We also know that Seal has given black women a try at least. They are 2 very attractive people, and seem very suited for each other.
