R. Kelly aka Pee Pee extraordinaire aka Pied Pedophile aka Mr. SMH of the Year’s wife is finally divorcing his triflin’ ass after he’s been choppin down little girls for a ga-zillion years…
R&B singer R. Kelly and his wife of 11 years, Andrea Lee Kelly, are officially divorced, according to a statement from their lawyers Thursday. Kelly, 42, and Andrea, 35, will have joint custody of their three children. No other details were revealed. The announcement follows Kelly’s acquittal of child pornography charges in June. The couple weathered martial ups and downs during the six-year-long case. In 2005, Andrea, filed an emergency protective order to keep the singer away from her amid claims of physical abuse which she rescinded weeks later. The couple then filed for divorce in 2006, but were still trying to make things work.
After years of silence, Andrea told Essence magazine in 2007, “Some people in my position would probably be very broken right now, and they would probably be saying, ‘Woe is me.’ But I’m just not that person.” The couple married in 1996, two years after the then-20-year-old Andrea had auditioned as a backup dancer for the singer/songwriter/record producer. She would go on to handle most of the choreography for his tours, videos and live performances.

My thing is most victims are terrifed of testifying at the trial of a man who shamed and abused them. Their not testifying does not mean that he is innocent , it just means that he succeeded in killing their innocence. And, if I read you correctly you stated you would give him another chance. Yes, this is true but it is still sad. I hate to sound like the old folks, but they are right. We need to stop talking about the problem and do. Now, I know everyone does not think a like. But, when my parents told me this. I decided to do better for myself. Yes, I got married and pregenant when I was young and could have chosen not to do anything but work at a Coffee Shop like I was doing when I was in college. However, I know I wanted to be better not just for my parents, myself, but for my child and my race. So I finished college and law school so that I turn may provide an example for my community. And don’t believe the hype…the black family does exist. I came from an intact, two parent household, I’m married and my husband and I have…count ‘em…two children..and will NOT be having anymore.
