Draya Michele quenches your Valentine’s Day thirst…

Draya Michele Covers Rolling Out Magazine

Basketball Wives L.A. banger Draya Michele recently took her cakes over to Rolling Out Magazine for a candid photo shoot styled by celebrity stylist Olori Swank and sat down to talk women hating on her, what she likes in a guy and more.

Check out a few excerpts from the interview below.

There’s the talk that she practically lives in the nightclubs and [Draya] Michele does admit that she spends a lot of time frolicking and partying in the nightclubs of Los Angeles and other major cities.

But she admits that her work has taken her away from her son for longer stretches than she would like.

On what she likes in a guy:

“I’m very regular. I like to do regular stuff with my guy. If we’re not going to the movies or to dinner, I like to stay in my house and cook,” she says. “I’m still, like, a regular girl and a hopeless romantic. All I need is one flower. I don’t need a dozen roses. One flower is fine.”

On why she thinks women hate on her:

“I just think that some women don’t like me because they don’t understand me. They don’t know the history, they don’t know where I come from,” she says, “so there’s a little bit of a misunderstanding. They think that I’m dressing for attention when in reality I’m just a free spirit.”

On what constitutes a strong woman:

“A strong woman to me means that a woman can do it on [her] own. Whether she’s working, whether she’s going to school, whether she is a mother … whatever she is doing, she is doing it on her own. And whatever she is doing, she is succeeding at it and trying her hardest. That’s a strong woman to me,” says Michele.

These answers are all good and fine….but it’s a little surprising to not hear Draya say that a mother is a good example of a strong woman also, since she’s one herself.

Check out a few more pics from the photo shoot, along with some candids of a ‘kini clad Draya on her recent Bahamas vacation.
