Lil’ Wayne to Drop Rock Album

Yep, y’all, word is that Lil’ Weezy is gonna be coming out with a rock album, as if we hadn’t had enough of him:
Canadian rapper Drake recently revealed that Lil Wayne is working on an upcoming rock album, and he’ll be on it.
In an interview with MusicMusic.com, the rapper — who hails from Toronto — said that he’ll be featured on Weezy’s upcoming rock music project.
“Wayne’s coming out with a new album, it’s a rock album,” he said. “A complete rock album. I have a song on there.”
Drake compared Weezy’s attempt at rock to Kanye West’s attempts at singing on his latest album 808s and Heartbreak, saying it will throw “individuals off.”
We suppose we are the wrong website to be posing this question, but here goes nothing: who’s checking for Weezy’s rock album??

Weezy sells albums like no other because he has a huge fan base; and they support him. His last album sold 1 million in the first opening week right?? Wrong??? I dunno; but I do know that it sold a million in a short period of time.

If you listen to his latest tracks – He doesn’t actually rap anymore…he “semi-sings”. So I’m not too surprised. I just hope he doesn’t mess it up by using too much Auto-Tune on the Rock Album

You are so right on. That’s our music, too. I like old school rock and new wave from the 80s and 90s and I know I won’t be checking for this Lil Wayne album. Now it just seems like he’s trying too hard. I bought Santogold’s album a while back, a black female stepping outside the box. You’re better off checking out her music than this Lil Wayne crap.

Music is personal and some of us don’t like the same things period. Kanye isn’t a singer does that mean he shouldn’t try to pull the wool over some of your eyes? Does that mean he shouldn’t experiment with something he knows he isn’t good at? Of course it does, but he’s rich and famous which means he could do what some of you talentless gimps only dream of.
