I was vegan for several years. On the one hand, I lost alot of weight (I’m 5’10 so I looked like lollipop head), but on the other hand, I became anemic because I wasn’t getting enough iron. I didn’t do enough research on how to replenish the missing nutrients. If you really want to do it, I suggest reading up on it first.

There are some really good vegan restaurants here in NY by the way…

One night I was in bed watching the info channel and they were saying how the supermarkets keep spoiled meats and change the dates and shit and that is why we are getting sick wit ecoli poison and such. Well my dr is a vegan himself for like 4 yrs now and he told me that if I become one then I will be fine as long as I drink all those protiene shakes which have the same natural ingredients that real meaty protiene has. Besides it is true in some instances about the meat packaging in your local supermarket, dont be fooled Oshie. It may be handled well pre shipping, but once they get to the grocery store it can stay on the shelves for weeks and spoil and what the clerks do is just restamp it and people buy it. Thats disgusting.

If you continue to do the appropriate reading and take the supplements, you should be fine. I found the iron pills made me constipated so I now eat meat in moderation, but mostly fish. I don’t fux with dairy much though-not a fan. Give it a try, and if it doesn’t work for you, you can always go back. But you’ll find that your digestive system will work better, and you’ll have more energy.

As far as the food/meat eating thing here’s my input: you have to find something balanced that works for you. I’ve been diagnosed with anemai and have low iron issues too. But in recent years its gotten better because I make sure I eat balanced meals, more veggies, and a vitamin supplement. **Plus Vitamin D ladies!! Make sure you take that daily: to ward off common cancers and keep your bones strong. I eat meat-all kinds: everything is ‘dirty’so all you can do is clean it and cook it thoroughly & pray for the best.

For the dress, I have to give it to Beyonce. However, I do not like the way that she wore the dress. It is too tight. She looks stuffed and over done. I realize that a lot of bloggers like that necklace, and that’s cool- I can see why. However, I think that Beyonce could have went with a simple necklace with a hint of blingy bling. The dress is so fab that it can narrarate on its own-lol. The shoes are a disappointment. I do believe that I have seen her wear these shoes before, (she often repeats footwear). I would have preferred something ivory, even a set of bling, bling open toes made of diamonds, and such, with soft pink, next to white nails. Maybe this dress would have looked better on someone of a slimmer frame. This is not to disrespect. There are clothes that everyone can wear. However, some look better, and can rock it to a higher caliber.

JLo looks nice, especially since she is now a mother of two. JLo is fantastic and almost always hits 100%. The dress itself is very glamorous and would look great at another venue. I do feel that JLo’s dress is not the best choice. JLo could have also toned up way more, before wearing such a dress. I do feel that this dress shows some insecurity, which I can understand, and that’s cool. I do believe that she had had so many to choose from and this time- no, no, no. Sorry JLO. As far as the hair, ummm. A style with some hair haning down would have tamed the outfit somewhat. Yes JLo, we know that you have been working out, and we love it. You are an inspiration. You can buy a set of fangs that really don’t cost more than 100 bucks these days. They really look good, but if you want a set specifically for you, you have to get a mold done. Once they do that, it takes about a week, but they look real as hell!
