Jacob the jewler has said that most artist rent thier bling. Very few can afford to buy it outright. Half of these rappers don’t own anything they are just trying to keep up appearances. They better take a lesson from Hammer.

You’re right and not just the rappers. Singers, actors, athletes they all rent. Only a handful can actually afford to buy and my homie Oprah is one of them. SHE OWNS ALL OF HER JEWELRY.

My thoughts:

#1 – If the check was dated for Jan 18, i’m assuming 1/28/08, why are you depositing the check now?? That may be the reason there was a stop payment – just like the man said “misunderstanding”.

#2 – If you have the money, like everone else is saying, just pay for it. That’s how they get you with all these payment plans because if you miss a payment, we all know they start calling wanting their money in full. Personally, if i was a jeweler and you came to buy something from me that costs as much as a house I would want all my money upfront before you leave the store! LOL! That’s just me.

#3 – If you don’t have the dough to buy the jewlery, don’t even window shop! Keep it movin’!

I’m aware that they want the celebs to wear their jewelry and so do the fashion designers. That’s why the hosts always ask “Who are you wearing?” It’s the best type of advertisement.
