Amy Winehouse, everyone:
Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is vowing she’s finally kicked her notorious drug habit. As for alcohol, well, that’s a different story.
“I’m off the drugs for good,” the “Rehab” crooner told Britain‘s News of the World.
Winehouse has spent several weeks shacked up at a resort in St. Lucia where she reportedly infuriates fellow guests with her drunken antics.
But the 25-year-old – who has been in and out of rehab for a year – claims she has her act together after hitting rock bottom.
“I’ve finally escaped from hell. I’m in love again and I don’t need drugs,” she says. “Look at me, I’m glowing!”
The married singer has coupled up with 21-year-old rugby player Josh Bowman during her vacation – and she’s not afraid to share details of their romance.
“We just had sex … can’t you tell?” she told the paper.
Bowman “couldn’t be more different from my husband, which is not a bad thing,” Winehouse says.
As for her relationship with hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, Winehouse says “I don’t know what’s going on with us now and for the time being I’ve just forgotten I’m even married.” Ah … OK.
“Blake was rubbish in bed. Almost every time I slept with him it was like I was dead,” she adds.
Winehouse says her marriage “was based on drugs” and she plans to “deal with Blake” when she gets back home to London.
But for now, Winehouse has no plans to leave the resort where she landed following a very lengthy hospital stay for what her reps termed as a “bad reaction to medication.”
“Home is hell for me. I’ve escaped from it,” she says. “There are drugs everywhere. …But here I feel so calm and peaceful. …I haven’t touched anything since I arrived and I feel the best I have in years.”
Could Winehouse finally be getting her act together?
Where do we even start?
First, she may have escaped hell, but it appears as though she’s still burning. Ouch.
Second, it wasn’t Blake that was making her feel dead when they got it on, it was all the toxic urine from the drugs she used that destroyed the lining of her vagi-gi rendering her cooch useless to her and others with regard to sex. SMH
