A Montgomery County music teacher faces child pornography charges after police say they searched a computer at his Dundalk, Md. home.

54-year-old Lawrence Joynes of the 1900 block of Ormand Road faces one count of possession of child pornography.

Police say Joynes was a music teacher at New Hampshire Estates Elementary in Silver Spring.

Joynes remains at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $1 million bail.

The investigation is on-going at this time.
