It looks like it’s a wrap on Usher’s latest business venture:
No more grapes, wine tastings or photos will be taken at the singer’s Atlanta-area Grape Franchise.
According to Access Atlanta, Usher’s much-publicized bar, which opened in late 2006, has closed.
The Grape at Inman Park — a bistro, wine bar and wine retailer — did not reopen for the New Year and did not renew its liquor license with Georgia’s Department of Revenue.
Upon opening the franchise in 2006, Usher rolled out the red carpet and met reporters, photographers and a well known list of Atlanta area businessmen and women, with talk of opening several ‘The Grape’ locations in international locales including South America.
There is no word as to whether Usher’s closure is related to the economic crisis.
When all else fails, blame crazy ass Tameka. If she hadn’t been clouding his judgment with that murderous, M.I.L.F. wet-wet, he would have made better business decisions. Damn her.
