When it comes to his wives, don’t mess with Bobby Brown.

Via NYDailyNews reports:

Whitney Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown wants $1 million from the National Enquirer for reporting the couple was going to remarry before her tragic death.

Brown sued the supermarket tabloid in Manhattan Federal Court Monday, taking issue with the March 26, 2012 story that ran six weeks after the legendary pop star was found dead.

The story also claimed Brown was cheating on his fiancee, Alicia Etheredge, with the doomed diva.

Brown and Etheredge married last June.

The source of the Enquirer story was Derrick Handspike, a Georgia veteran of the music industry. He is also a defendant.

The lawsuit comes a week after Brown surrendered to authorities in Los Angeles to begin serving a 55-day prison term for a driving under the influence conviction.

SMH. Do people really be believing National Enquirer? Just sayin’. It’s definitely in poor taste though that they did this so soon after Whitney’s death.
