There’s been a lot of back and forth about JHud‘s return to the spotlight. Now, sources say that she’ll be performing at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards next month:
Her addition to the list of performers was announced today. It will be the third time she takes the stage since her family was murdered this past fall. Her first public appearance will be at the Super Bowl in Tampa, Fla., on Feb. 1 — she will sing the national anthem at the game.
She will also sing at the Grammys’ MusiCares event Feb. 6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Hudson is up for three Grammys — Best Female R&B Vocal Performance (“Spotlight”), Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals (“I’m His Only Woman,” featuring Fantasia), and Best R&B Album.
Reports in the past have been a little suspect, but this sounds like this could be a sure thing. Time will tell…
