ASAP Rocky Featured In Nautical Themed Shoot For May Issue Of GQ

Harlem-born rapper A$AP Rocky hits the high seas with GQ in the May issue of the magazine. The hip-hop dynamo, who is currently on tour with Rihanna, shows guys how to sail into style this summer with some dashing seafaring looks. Following his shoot, A$AP chats with GQ’s Mark Anthony Green about his interest in fashion and who inspires him. Hint: it’s someone he knows better than anyone else.

A$AP Rocky on his style:

“I wanted to model when I was younger. I was always into clothes and isht.”

…on his being featured on menswear blogs:

“I’m the man on those things. I don’t really look at them. Well, I guess I do, but only when I’m looking at myself. I inspire me.”

Well he did go on wax bragging about being that “pretty mothafawka”!
