Ladies get friend zoned too… SMH. Y’all are already probably familiar with RaVaughn, who is being touted by Ne-Yo as the “New Voice of Women” thanks to her hot single “Better Be Good” but we gotta say we’re glad to see she’s capable of doing something out of the box with her latest song, which has a more acoustic vibe and definitely isn’t anything like all the other R&B girls out right now.
Compound Entertainment/Columbia recording artist RaVaughn (pronounced Rah-Von) is back with a new song and lyric video for “Best Friend” off her forthcoming album, ‘Love Always.’ With a melodic pop/folk vibe, the guitar driven song speaks to an all too familiar dilemma a lot of people have been through before. She sings, “I’ve been sitting on this bench for too long while you playing with these basic fake chicks.”
So what do you think? Think plenty ladies should be able to relate to this one.
And here goes “Better Be Good” feat. Wale for those who didn’t realize it was RaVaughn on the track…
