Hey Lauren! Robert Downey Jr. was great in Tropic Thunder, but unfortunately, he’s up against Heath Ledger, who will likely win this award posthumously.

  • Ms. T.

Congrats Taraji and Godspeed sister. You deserve it.

  • Ermy Erm (Brrr its mad cold)

    CONGRATS TARAJI!🙂

I like her. She was cool as a mofo on 106 n Park when The Family That Preys came out

  • Lady Architect

I have to see slumdog millionnaire. Everyone talks about it and it’s winning tons of awards. I wish Taraji the best because it would be a major break among some of the other black actresses that don’t get enough credit. Her being nominated alone says a big thing. Best actress is going to be crazy because some of my fav actresses are in that category, but I think it’s Kate’s turn because the reading was a good movie. Meryl always wins eventhough she always deserves it.

  • tg

I enjoyed that movie, even though it was long. It still held my attention throughout the whole movie. She was excellent to me. She definitely deserves to win.

  • Detroiter4Life

I’m excited for Taraji!! She’s come a long way and she deserves this……Get’em Girl!

I must say that Robert Downey was funny as hell in Tropical Thunder he gets my vote for supporting role!
