Jeezy and Camel rode on Bush real hard at their Obama concern in DC. Well, you know Faux had something to say. SMH.

Faux News should know there is a lot of Black pain and suffering anchoring those lyrics.

  • Rah-digga

    First

  • Aunt Viv

Bill O’Reilly has nerve, the pervert

  • PhillyBrownGrownWoman

my president is black, my lambo’s blue….

  • http://www.k.com noelle

What do you expect??? Obviously change hasn’t happened yet…we can not even express ourselve (as black individuals) entirely yet. I thought we were “free”??? Anyhow, I will just keep listening to my dad. He says he likes Obama, he just knows the public is STILL not ready for sucha change. He is: 1) young 2) black 3) fresh 4) a Democrat. Lord Jesus, help us all. Barack the damn vote.

  • c from stl

This is completely expected. Although I know that we as blacks are really excited about this moment we need to act better, especially with the message that Barack is trying to send with unity and progression. The ‘N’ word really needs to die.

  • The_Truth

***You have to place blame on Jay/ Jeezy to a certain extent. . .a presidential Inaguration isn’t the venue for this.

Minstream media wants the world to believe “The black vote” is just a bunch of followers that don’t know facts. As queit as Jay has been about his relationship, he KNOWS how the media will distort this.

I’m not totally blaming Jeezy/ Jay. . .but let’s keep it real with OURSELVES, that wasn’t the best example. Obama entire campaign was based on CHANGE, this is the same’o NIGGA-SHIT we get stereotyped as.

  • Mrs. Rance

Maybe these men need to learn to express themselves more eloquently when the need arises. If that is not possible maybe an inaugural ball is not a place for some rappers to perform.

  • thedon

this guy is a grade one prick

  • (O)o(o)Jorge(O)o(o)

I agree with Fox News. They were representing some thing positive and they couldn’t keep their lyrics clean for one night?

  • SMDH aka SEXY CHOCOLATE SYRUP SAUCE

I agree wholeheartedly!! I prayed when it began to look like Barack would win that these rapping coons did not come out of the woodwork with their “n!gger, n!gga, n!ggah – whatfukkinever” bullshit, bringing this good man down. It’s a damn shame.. I pretty sure that why he didn’t want any of them near him at the inaguration. Sadly – as much as I can’t stand Bill OReilly and care even less for Dennis Miller – they are right in everything that they said in this video!! You can’t make anyone change – especially not a coon who has become a multimillionaire off the family and societal destruction of his own – but the least their ignorant coon asses could do is not fukk it up for those blacks who are trying to rise above all that stereotypical ignorance!!

  • zaizai

lmao…dats wat happens wen u invite rappers to the inauguration..

  • c from stl

Unlike most people on here I happen to really like Bill O’Rielly. You have to respect his position. He holds republicans up to the same scrutiny as he does democrats because he’s an independent media figure somewhat similar to Lou Dobbs. He’s going to report things the way they may appear to someone who has no ties or connection whatsoever to a certain culture or group of people. And, I have to admit, it looks bad to me and I’m a black woman.

  • cutemama007

    *burp*

  • SMDH aka SEXY CHOCOLATE SYRUP SAUCE

lmao…dats wat happens wen u invite rappers to the inauguration..

They weren’t invited. They hosted their own Inaugural ball type thing. Notice that Obama didn’t show up?!?! He didn’t invite those ignorant coons to be anywhwre near him….

  • Rah-digga

    @ SMDH

You guys are acting like they jumped on the podium as Obama was being sworn in and started singing this. IN A NIGHT CLUB PEOPLE!!!!

  • Crazy Ass Rodney

TOP FIFTEEN you a-rab SHOE throwerz!!!!!!

  • Crazy Ass Rodney

    damn you terrorists!! TOP 20*

  • Resurrected

To me Bill O’Rielly does at like a racist. He used his podium to talk to make trouble. This is what I don’t get just because you have a show it does not make you GOD. He started that show about Jay-z and Jezzy just in the end to talk about what he didn’t like about Obama speech who cares. If he needed your say so he would have asked you first. I do think Jay and Jezzy were very ignorant and were only thinking about themselves. Barak being a black man does not give every black person the right to act out so ignorantly. We make people view us in the negative.

  • Rah-digga

Hell, think about it, Biden took a big stab at the Cheif Justice for f’ing up the lines at the swearing in ceremony in front of press. Which do you think was more inappropriate?

  • come on

This to shall pass, Things will get better not that barack is in office.

  • http://dicooper.spaces.live.com/ DICooper

Black people need to be honest about their choice of media for such a historical event. Today’s rapper is yesterday’s geetchie coon. The amount of money that they can earn may have changed but the principal is the same: keep these [dumb] N!**@$ running, to paraphrase Ralph Ellison.

  • sugamama5000`

I must have hit a nerve cause bossip won’t print my replies

  • SMDH aka SEXY CHOCOLATE SYRUP SAUCE

    “@ SMDH

You guys are acting like they jumped on the podium as Obama was being sworn in and started singing this. IN A NIGHT CLUB PEOPLE!!!!”

Listen it could have been in a goddamn zoo for all I care.. The event itself was attached to Obama and both of them attached his name to the ignorance they were spewing .. It could have been in a mosque in Turkey – I don’t care!! As long as Obama’s name and inauguration was attached to it they should have been more respectful of how their actions would reflect on him.. It’s ignorant for them to attach the name of a man trying to make such racial head way while trying to uplift his own to their gutter ghetto ignorant coon bullshit!! It’s one thing to decide for yourself that it’s okay to be a genocide promoting, black race destructing, societal poisoning ignorant ass coon.. It’s another thing to attach someone who actually wants to see his race uplifted to that attitude unwillingly!!

  • ms meca

my president is black my lambo blue and ill be gotd@m if my rims aint too

  • http://bossip.com/68766/showdown-in-motown-katt-williams-vs-steve-harvey/#comments me

Here we go, our country is in a crisis and this is what we are arguing over? PUT an add up for jobs…make that some damn news…..

  • come on

i meant now that barack is in office.

  • Lady Architect

I can’t stand Fox news to be honest. My question is if/when Obama talks bad about using these types of lyrics and the N word, will the rappers then turn and start to call him a sell-out?

  • Minniemuu

Ok, First of all Bill O’ whatever the F is his name needs to go sit down! Jay Z and Young Jeezy did not mean any harm in what they said. Rapper’s rap about how they feel at the moment. So what if the called him a ni**a. They were not saying it in a bad way. Maybe that’s not something that you call our new prez. But they did, so get over it! We should me happy that we a SMART, black prez but no, now everyone is taking about how Jay z and Jeezy called him a ni**a.

So now Bill and the other man is mad about how the rappers are disrespecting Obama? What! Fox News have been talking bad about the man since he said he was running for prez.

All I have to say is that Fox News need to go somewhere!!! Your are just mad that we as black ppl have the upper hand now!!!!

  • deafjam04

As much as I don’t like Bill O’Reilly he does have a point. I too felt it was unnecessary for Gay-Z and Young Sleezy to perform that way during the concert.

  • http://bossip.com cassidy70

they’re sitting there talking about how jz and jeezy hasnt “heard about” the change but they insist on talking about how we express our excitement that they’re george bush; that’s 4 them and by them is finally outta here!! the prez is black damnit! we’ve won the effin lottery. let us bask in the victory. whites have had the upper hand in this world fort a very long time. ita’s noty our fault we’re passing them by. they had a lifetime to stay on top. they slacked and we conquered. lol.
    HI HATERZZZZZ!!!

  • Lady Architect

I wish someone could just erase that N word from people’s brains. Putting an a on the end instead of er means no different. The word is just disruptive and continues to live on because children are instilled with these words through music and their elders. I’m glad I have no children yet, but when I do they will learn the ignorance of that word and the people who continue to use it because they lack vocabulary.

  • exotica

Wow I am utterly amazed and shocked that people are defending Jay Z’s and Jeezy’s ignorant asses. Who the hell cares if they were at a private club? The whole goddamn purpose of Obama getting elected and the purpose of the inaugural week was to rise above all the negative stereotypes and show that as black americans we’re not all a bunch of drug dealing, gun toting, baggy jean wearing thugs.

And these two fools are on stage talking about “Obama is my n*****”. Jay is forty freakin years old for Christ sake, time to grow up.

People it’s not going to mean a goddamn thing to have a black president if we are still acting like a bunch of fools in our everyday lives. The only way we are going to rise above is to STOP FULFILLING STEREOTYPES. I don’t know why this is so hard to grasp.

And for the record Fox news isn’t the only station talking about this. It was on the BBC and CNN as well.

  • grillfixer

@SMDH, wow, u have ranted n raved on here a lot, but today i must say u have out done ur self! U say J was not invited, that B did not show up! but ur sooo wrong, did u not see the neighborhood ball? where beyonce sang 4 the 1st couple? J performed soon after, now this is 4 u n every 1 else, i watched bill O riley last night, it was funny, 2 see these played out white folks talk 2 there so called conservative base about pop stars who they are so out of touch with, u n every 1 on here screaming they should not have said that, cause of how it makes B look, is so late, u would have black’s cowering in corner’s n in back room’s to express there self, we will all be free when African American’s can say what they want, how they want, and not worry about what white ppl are going to think about it, B aint woried believe me, the ppl o riley was talking 2 are watching from the side lines, they lost because there views are played out n there game is clearly seen, miller even said he did not vote 4 B, n really don’t care, so make sure as u get along with white folk’s ur not losing ur self to get along, cause there not. and shit my Prez is Black! n i aint keep it on the low low!!!

  • Resurrected

I think a lot of things can be called ignorant. We tend to think that our opinion make everything bond.

Rah-digga all I know is each day I wake up to live my life with more excellence and to me what Jay and Jezzy did, did not reflect anything of positive light for a man that is trying to have to present change. I not sure if any heard this but at first Barak did not want Jay-z there because of what he felt his music presented to the media, even though he had said that he does like him as an artist. Now he got a change and did just want Barak feared he would do and it does not reflect on Jay but own new president. Have your opinions but don’t take your opinion as the norm because I do not agree with everyone I can speak for myself.

  • Simun

    Bill O hates black ppl.

  • SoWhat

Stop calling Jay-z camel! YOu so stupid bossip!

  • Rah-digga

    @ SMDH

Did you listen to the lyrics?

I don’t get how you can go in at both Jeezy and Jay-Z for critisizing Bush, attacking bush to a room full of fans, PEOPLE THAT SHARE HIS SENTIMENT? They didn’t attach Obama’s name to their opinion. They praised him for being President. There are several youtube vids of ralleys of people talking all kinds of shit about Obama, calling him Muslim and all kinds of nonesense. Did any of that irratate you? It sure as hell pissed me off, and If I could, I scream Jay-Z’s lyrics back at them.

McCain was at a ralley back in September/October and was asking questions from people in his audience and two spoke some bullshit, one old woman said she wouldn’t vote for him because he’s an Arab and McCain did killed that noise, I applaud him for that, Biden was getting in on the Cheif Justice and Obama shut him down.

Point is, there’s a time and a place for everything. That remix was at the proper time at the proper place; a private location surrounded by their mental peers ie; other people that are sick and tired of 8 years of bush.

  • The_Truth

Only dumb nigga’s can turn a presidential inaguration into a event where every club is “sold-out”. . .private or public, that Jay/ Jeezy must be explained the rules.

If it was the Superbowl at a club in Tampa, Coo, I have no problem. . .but wakeup stocking cap wearing niggas, ITS THE PRESIDENT BEING INAGURATED!

Go to any country around the world, and only American made “niggas” will find a way to show how ‘dignity’ isn’t in their vocabulary. . .that’s OUR problem WE must fix. If Obama’s inaguration wasn’t the best chance for redemption, what is??

  • Lise’

How about Bill needs 2 get his panties out of a bunch. He failed to realize that “My president is Black” is a chart climbing single with constant air-play on the black excuse me urban radio stations. It’s not mean’t for his uptight azz to be listening to in the first place. They couldn’t find anything else negative to report about so they went to a hood azz pre-inaugrual party not official inaugrual ball. Screw Bill with his ol’ uptight azz, his daughter probably in love with some YOUNG JEEZY!

I am an an african american women and I love entertainment just like the next but JAYZ old @#$ needs to sit down, the only reason he was even there was because of his wife, ain’t NOBODY checking for him except where he was rapping that mess with Jeezy, the whoes in the clubs, B get you man!!!!!

  • grillfixer

U bend over kiss ass, ashamed of all the reflections that is black, folk’s are truley dumb, just plain blind, u think progress is being ashameded of the black’s that are not like you, i bet when ur out with ur friend’s and some black person that doesn’t fit in to ur vision of what we should b, come by, or is on t.v, i bet u cringe and disown and turn coat! Progress is when every shad of black can be expressed, from the baggy jeans to the suit, to the garbage man to the C.E.O, stop tryin to shame other black’s, it does nothing but show that, we put up with the white shit at work or where ever, n now u want them to chang at home, y dont u change? y don’t u say everyone is not like me! n i will not try to make everyone like me, nor will i judge other’s! try it, u might just have a more diverse base of friends and they will like u for who u are, as u like them 4 who they are! dont let words get u pissed, it’s silly, c look nigga, nigga, nigga!! My prez is BLACK! F Bush!!!! it’s just word’s chill out!!!

rappers and politics don’t mix, They need to go back to talking about rims or how much money they got or something leave that subject alone.

  • Cliff

ROFL. I didn’t think any one was more lost than Bill O’Racist. Apparently Dennis Miller is.

Those two deserve each other. They need to move them both to the Red Eye time slot.

  • Rah-digga

    @ Resurrected

Dude, I applaud anyone doing positive things with their life. I wake up every day thanking God I have a roof over my head, a job to go to and can afford to fill up my car with gas.

That being said, Bush sent this country to ruin. Am I a coon for agreeing with the sentiment of Jay Z and Jeezy?

Is it ignorant to hate the fact that this country tried to make this presidential election about race and social class, even trying to showcase an aunt that was illegal and plaster Arabic connections to his name just ‘cuz it sounds different.

I don’t care for the lyrics talking about a Maybach or a Lambo. That’s bullshit that doesn’t connect to me.

Please listen to what Jay says about “even if you’re racist…”

    @ The Truth

He wasn’t being inagurated at that moment. first of all, that was Sunday night, not even the day before the event. Second, now that Obama’s in the office, do artist, rock/rap/hip hop/RnB stop making social commentary about society?

Can someone post the lyrics for this shit, please?

  • http://bossip.com cassidy70

FREEDOM OF SPEECH PPL! THEY DIDNT ASK TO BE FEATURED ON THE NEWS OR ANYWHERE ELSE EXPRESSING THEIR OPINIONS. NO ONE INVITED FOX NEWS, BBC OR THOSE WHO DON’T “GET DOWN LIKE US” TO BE THERE. FOLKS WERE CELEBRATING AND HAVING A GREAT TIME EXPRESSING COMMON ADMIRATION FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA (AND GETTING A LITTLE WASTED IN BETWEEN I’M SURE)
IT WAS A DAMN PARTY! AND ALSO REMEMBER THIS; THOSE BROTHERS ARENT POLITICIANS AND AINT PLAYIN POLITICS ON TV. LOL. GET OFF IT!
WHY DO PPL ALWAYS GOTTA MAKE THINGS SO PERSONAL? I’LL BET U THINK THIS COMMENT’S ABOUT U!

  • KC all day

Where was O’Reilly when they ran the song “Barrack the Magic Negro” Where was the scrutiny then? Granted the rap was kinda weak, although I do like Jezzy, The Righties were just looking to stir up drama.

  • STEFANY

They weren’t invited. They hosted their own Inaugural ball type thing. Notice that Obama didn’t show up?!?! He didn’t invite those ignorant coons to be anywhwre near him
    **************************************************
That’s true, that was kind of ignorant of Jay-Z and Jeezy but at the same time I feel that Bill just wants to find some kind of ignorant bullshit related to Obama’s inauguration that he can’t put in the media to make black people look bad..Obama wasn’t there nor did he have anything to do with that party, and futher more why is bill concerning himself with some hood ass rapper in the first place, nobody’s is paying Jay-Z or Jeezy any attention except his racist ass..All he doing is giving them more press.

  • Lacombe Redbone

    ROTFLMBAO…I Love Jeezy!!!

  • sickofitt

That was awful and embarassing. I wondered why Young Jezzy was even there. He is a self proclaimed drug dealer with a pending case. He is apart of the problem in the black community, yet he showed up to celebrate the incoming president. What does he think Obama is going to be down with the ignorance that has plagued us for so long? I am very proud that Obama is in the white house, but only because I always vote Democrat, not because he is a black man. I voted for Clinton, Gore, Kerry, & Obama. It is really sad to see people chanting my president is black. How do you think Mr Obama would feel watching that clip? These are grown men, fathers, and unfortunately roles models and this is how they act. I know our new president is a busy man but I would love for him to call them out on this bs, to let them know this sh!t is TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE!!

  • princedonte

black people are entitled to their own opinion though i think it was not appropriate for the two rappers to have said what they said at that time i hope not to be locked in with everybody the same color of my skin yes obama is a great man and i do support him but there’s also thing bout him i don’t like some of his policies i think he’s to conservative on some issues i hope black people don’t get all jonestown on obama he is a great man but we still have our own individual views

  • Anon E Mouse

It is irresponsible. They do undermine the new President’s image. More importantly, it’s not helping to uplift us by talking down to Black folks. When Jay-Z left that club, I’m sure he spent the next day talking to his rich white partners who helped him buy his clubs, basketball team, future hotels etc. He knows better. Even though we have a Black president, white folks are still relevant. Jay-Z’s just talking bullsh*t and feeding into the Black v White sh*t. Have we not learned anything from the crowd who went to see Barack on Tuesday. The majority of the folks there was white.

Young Jeezy, on the other hand, is just straight up simple and means those things that he said.

  • STEFANY

Amen! But Bill is a media whore as well sometimes he does shit for ratings..He knows the kind of audience he has so he has to play into their emotions right now while they’re all upset, what better way to get your white republican veiwers mad.

    *excuse the typos*

  • missmikah16

Psh yeah, the white dudes right – this was some ghetto shit. Embarrassing! They coulda kept that clean. Obama is black but he ain’t hip hop.

  • Lady Architect

Since Jay and Jeezy was expressing the way people feel and using their freedom of speech, is it safe to say that Bill is using his as well?

  • http://BOSSIP MISSK

  • msT

JAY-Z AND JEEZY ARE TRASHY EX-DRUG DEALERS THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AT THE INAUGURATION IN THE FIRST PLACE…THEY ARE IGNORANT, UNEDUCATED AND CLASS-LESS…SO I AM NOT SUPRISED BY THIS…IT’S DISGUSTING…”My president is black…NIGGA”-WTF…CAN’T WE NOT USE THE N-WORD WHILE REFERRING TO OUR PRESIDENT?!

  • sickofitt

@Stefany what better way to get your white republican veiwers mad.

I second that. Their were a lot of white republican voters that voted for Obama because they were tired of the BS as well. Obama will have to shine like the brightest star now because of ignorant sh!t like this. Unfortunately, people don’t see blacks as individuals. We are all considered, welfare receipients, criminals, baby mamas, drug dealers etc.. We are not judged based on our character we are judged based on what all black people do. That was some very ignorant sh!t. I believe in freedom of speech but this was very tasteless and ignorant.

  • http://www.bossip.com Mz.Dany~Gyrl

    @ SICKOFITT

You’re so right blacks are the only race that gets lumped into one category, they’ll try to make Obama responsible for every ignorant black person on the planet..You best believe Fixed News will be watching negros with a microscope now that Barack has been offically elected.

  • Films.

Bill and Miller appear to be very disrespectful. As a Black man, I still do not think that some White people do not get it. When it comes to Blacks, expression on the government, slavery, and racism from the past, they should just not say anything. Jeezy and Jay Z., did what they do as recording artist. They are not politicians, they do not need to be fair and clear with their views. A lot of Black Americans, and Blacks, world wide had an issue with Bush’s presidency.

Miller’s so-called sharp sense of humor was low-class and completely unfunny. Bill, is clearly allowing his personal thoughts enter into his profession (by totally supporting Bush) and that is so unprofessional.

  • k.DOPE

I WILL REJOICE THE DAY WHEN BLACK PEOPLE STOP CARING ABOUT WHAT “THEY” THINK OF US!!!! I MEAN DAMN!IT’S BILL O’REILLY! I THINK WE PLACE WAY TOOOO MUCH VALUE ON THEIR OPINIONS OF US. WE GOTTA STOP BEING SO INSECURE FOLKS. THOSE WERE OUR BROTHERS OUT THERE ROCK’N OUT FOR OUR NEW BLACK PRESIDENT, AND @ A NIGHTCLUB, WHERE I’M SURE JOY JUICE WAS FLOWING FREELY. YALL ACT’N LIKE IT WAS ACTUALLY THE BALL OR SOMETHING. STOP UNCLE TOM’N IT. JEEZ!

OUR GENERATION USES THE FORBIDDEN “N” WORD IN AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CONTEXT THAN PREVIOUS ONES. GET. OVER. IT.

  • Lady Architect

This what I don’t understand and nobody has answered my question. Bill O’ Reilly is not KAtie Couric or Meredith Vierra. He has his show where he talks about things that many don’t agree with, but he has some type of audience out there because he gets ratings whatever. Why are people jumping on him for exploiting Jay and Jeezy and giving his personal opinion on his show? Isn’t this the same thing Jay and Jeezy are doing during their show. How is it any different? I agree with neither one of the parties but don’t excuse one for the other and say Bill is doing this while making an excuse for jay and jeezy.

  • k.DOPE

    @Films:
as much as i love humanity, something needs to be done about o’reilly. just JOKING!! i know BIG BROTHER is watching:)

  • STEFANY

    Lady Architect,

That’s what I said in my comment, Bill is a meida whore and he’s just capitalizing on the moment..The ceremony in Washington went off without any kind of violence so he has to find something negative that he can use in relation to Obama, he has a following of Republicans veiwers he has to feed them something..And on the flip side he’s only giving Jay-Z and Jeezy more press.

  • Lady Architect

    k. dope,
What’s the context of the word now?

  • Resurrected

Well what ever the case I think they should apologize and recognize that words have power. I don’t much care for Bush but I do not give his present any power in my life and choices. He is gone and why are we still talking about him this is just like Palin and McCain, what you focus on you give power too. We are all in the past in stead of see the power of now. Only in the now can real things take place and the past should have not relevance. There are a lot of crazy balck people really for the negative and iganorance to showcase there ass and then there are the ones who know how to display class. So what side did they show agreement with?

  • Its6amHoGetOut

This is gonna cause some controversy but being the real “its6am” i dont give a f*ck. Jeezy is a deep south coonin’ ass wack rapper and what dennis Miller said is true, f*ck him, n*gga can barely rap.

Jay-Z i think was drunk and just caught up in the moment.

  • Its6amHoGetOut

    See you on Monday.

  • STEFANY

    Lady Architect,

I also wanted to say, look how the press fed off of Sarah Palin screw ups, Saturday Night Live had it’s biggest ratings ever all at her expense, and the media still gives her attention hoping she will say something stupid so they can make a fool out of her.

  • Film

But of course, they have something to say. It’s typical of FOX News.

  • http://www.myspace.com/ocky_j Octavia

“You have to place blame on Jay/ Jeezy to a certain extent. . .a presidential Inaguration isn’t the venue for this.

@ Truth: I agree 100%. If it was a concert on their own tours, then fine. But this was a political event… just goes to show money doesn’t buy class. Jeezy and Jay STILL haven’t learned there is a time and place for everything.

  • jena4rmthablock

I dont like Bill o rielly he is a self righteous, sack of hate. I saw Dennis Miller’s face before but dont remember or care what this guys does. Looks like the hair and makeup people at the studio gave Miller a fork, a glass of water and a socket before he went on air…SMH.

Anyway, all that aside I somewhat agree with these shameful slowmos. Let that n*gga word go.

Barack Obama is gonna sweep these less than steller black role modeles under the rug.

Callin women b*tches and hoes and bragging bout slingin yay, though they moved outta the hood years ago is just place tired, tacky and stupid. Dont look at rappers as role models kids, look at Barack

  • Marcus Graham aka Don’t be Crass

This is addressed to “keeping it real” and his/her response to “SMDH’s” comments; I just want to know how SMHD’s comments could warrent her being called a “Dumb Trick”? Reading your response made me chime in for the first time here on bossip, I’ve always just been content to observe the dialogue– but listen, what grade are you in? The snide remarks and hateful comments you make are what is wrong with our community, we are our own worst enemy, we tear each other down even when one of us is saying the right thing. By you calling SMDH a trick what did you accomplish?…she was right in her assertions, I have no love for Bill O’reily what so ever but when a man has a point–he has a point! and a wise man listens and a wiser man does something with it still. UNDERSTAND what he is saying to the world,”WHEN ARE WE AS BLACK PEOPLE GOING TO HOLD THESE SO CALLED ROLE MODELS IN OUR COMMUNITY ACCOUNTABLE”. Open your mind, he just did us a favor by calling this situation out like this–I don’t care where Jeezy said it like you keep pointing out. Pay attion/watch at 1:40-2:12)…I love hip hop and I think jeezy has great flow but after a while u listen and you realize his drug laden messages are trash, why should Obama be endorsed in a track endorsing coke. To me it sounds like your drunk on freedom and I personally don’t blame you because I understand you hate yourself so thus you must hate others, but I do blame those in our community who know what’s right but are too fearful to say it, or otherwise let the ignorant voices drown them out. As bossip say’s Fuc* a thug and the ignorant nig** shi* mentality didn’t help Obama get elected and it won’t help us progress as a race either. Do your own research on black history (I assure you it doesn’t begin with slavery as you probably think). If you can’t communicate like an intelligent human being you’re slowly losing relevancy after yesterday. I’m peepin the way bossip is evolving and I take my hat my off but I think you should do the same or maybe take your pre 2009 nig** shit elsewhere b/c nobody is buying it here. p.s. Change your name to “Keeping it Phony” it suits you better. **O’reily is right for once..when will WE stand up and tell the false among us to sit down!**

  • http://Celsyj@hotmail.com Celsy

First of all.. NO ONE CARES ABOUT FOX NOISE!!! We all Know O’Reilly is is a prejudice prick. It’s ok let them say what they want, it wont change the fact that we as blacks are on our way up!!!!
    OBAMA BABY!!!!

  • k.DOPE

    @ lady architect:
you didn’t get the memo? bummer.

  • Tracey

White people WHINGING ALREADY who cares for real? These rappers have sad and down worse over the years….white people whinging, what about all the KKK meetings out to kill a black president??????

  • Mean G

Wow. Y’all are retarded! These niccas sent black people back 50 years with that whackass rapshit! Obama don’t want no part of this BS. Try sounding educated for once black people!! Quit giving them ammo..SMH….DAMN! JEEZY the song is stupid.

  • Somer

This is why hip hop artist played no part in the Real inarguration activities. All them little sideline parties & concerts were just some bullshit they threw themselves.

  • 007

jay z and jeezy are nothing but cancers that are cutting away at the black community. Rap music does nothing to uplift the community in its current state, all it does is make vulgar and obscene gestures and spew murder, hate and of course the plethora of racial epithet. Hip Hop was originally a voice for the disenfranchised, poor blacks, now it’s a tool for the elite to use blacks to speak destruction of its own communities. Jay z and jeezy have become multi- millionaires of the back of ignorant folks that purchase such vice filled material; and you wonder why most blacks aren’t progressing in faster rates as in comparison to other minorities. You folks allow these rappers to use their poverty as an excuse to spew hate, it’s 2009, when are blacks going to abolish their phony and pathetic excuses. While Jews who have been through similar conditions as us progress and excel in banking, academics, and business ownership. What does blacks excel in? sports and entertainment, how pathetic. We need more of us enrolling in college and moving on to graduate degrees, rather than thugging, rapping or bouncing a ball. We need more black owned businesses. While these morons continue to spew their degradation of our community, you ignorant folks only purchase their albums, while they get richer, you become poorer. Wake up black people, these are not your role models, if anything, they are your enemies. Our great constitution gives these low lives a voice to speak their minds, but we keep them in business and of relevance by buying their junk.

  • No1Miss-Thickness

Wow, I watched most of the video, and i must say this. White folks will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER understand what having a black president means to the black community.

I do think that Young Jeezy could have said what he said in a better way, but just because our president is black and is now in the white house does not mean that the black community should now dismiss all of the madness created by Bush and his lack of respect for the black community and the lack of respect blacks recieve everyday as citizens (those of us who chose to live as decent citizens…trifflin one’s you know who you are).

So Faux news, Kick rocks and just accept the fact that its time for the “white man” to sit his ass down and see how the government is really suppose to be run.

  • LITTLE BEY

I 100% COSIGN WITH FOX ON THIS ONE! Why would they do this knowing the spot light would be on them (rappers) especially to mess THINGS UP??? JAY, JEEZY, AND WHOEVER ELSE KNOWS BETTER NO EXCUSES NECESSARY. OBAMA SHOULD HAVE BANNED THEM FROM HAVING ANY TYPE OF EVENTS AFFILIATED WITH THE INNAUGURATION IF THAT’S EVEN POSSIBLE (LOL)!

BOY, THIS IS WHY I DATE NON-BLACKS, DAMN!

  • jula

Bill O’Reilly is irrelevant!! he’s bitter and hateful and the economy is going to hell and this is what he wants to talk about? whatev. My President’s BLACK!!!!!!

  • Keeping It Real

@Marcus Graham…SMDH has a thing against black men and she doesnt have a oomment unless it has the word coon beside it. Since we as black people need to “do better” than that should go for her as well since the picture is that of a “black” woman.

  • Emmy

@ 007, honey its not a rapper’s place to make you feel better about life. yes SOME rap was about uplifting the community, but if you have to wait for a rapper to come out of nowhere and do for yourself, what you should have done already then its ON YOUR HEAD. it makes YOU the sad one.

Hiphop/Rap is beautiful. Yeah, they talk about what they know. If they know guns, they’ll rap guns. And I personally like gangster rap. Music doesnt have to always be so damn deep. Its so tiring, when all one person raps about is slavery, and oppression, and sadness, and shi*…its just too much. Music is supposed to be an escape.

With THAT being said, Bill O’Reilly, and Dennis Miller are both smug bastards, and I respect neither of their opinions, so this video made no impact on my opinions of Jay and Jeezy.

  • Emmy

PS: What is the point of education? To become successful, yes? So when someone becomes successful from something other than what you can learn in a classroom, people think its automatically a no-brainer…that you are an idiot because of how you come about your success.

You can get as much schooling as you’d like, but if you’re not intelligent from birth, school doesn’t do anything but help you memorize.

  • John J

I think O’Reilly and everyone at Fox News is a racist. But on this, he is completely correct.

Black people need to stop yelling that “their president is black” if they want their president to have a second term.

Don’t get to overconfident. A lot of whites who voted for Obama, whose votes he will need again to win in 2012, will get tired of this. Everyone can see that Obama is black. Rappers and everyone else doesn’t have to keep saying it.

41-43% of whites voted for Obama. He won with 53% of the vote. If some of those whites start to think blacks are getting to arrogant, they will not vote for Obama next time around.

Truthfully, if you all want him to go two terms, rappers and everyone else need to stop saying that “my president is black” statement.

  • Emmy

Oh yeah and one more thing: “My president’s black, my lambo’s blueeeee, and I’ll be God-DA**ED if my rims aintttt tooooooooooooooooo.”

  • Candid Canuck

    I disappointed in these two… seriously…

  • Candid Canuck

.. and bill o’reilly is a white minstrel.. he promotes a product to an audience of conservatives who absorb this type of dumbed-down conservatism… Ann Coulter also tapped into this market with her ridiculous book..

  • CHANGE HAS COME!!!

I don’t care for Bill O very much, unfortunately we must come to grips with reality of the black community. This is not what the Obamas stand for and can not continue on this way. We as a people must learn how to express ourselves intelligently. Mr. and Mrs.Obama faced down racism throughout the campaign and will continue to endure it like the rest of us. Black America we must take a long hard look at ourselves far the sake of generations to come. This man represents all of America and he was raised by his white family. The president will not bite his tongue when black folks need to be called out no differently than white folks. We must do better as a people are things will never change it is up to each of us.

  • GA by way of CA

so uncalled for because Obama does not support those views. just because the pres is black does not give you the right to act an azz even more. and we wonder why other races look down upon us? no one race is better than the next, but the black race has a long way to prove we can be taken seriously, imo.

  • Ty

Why is it that we as black people how to be bad and can not express ourselves because of something negative coming froma white person. In addition, it has never been a problem when white people are happy over something that another white person has done. If you do not understand that the media controls the world. We will never see the great things that black people do; we only get to see the stuff that they want us to see. How are they wrong for saying my president is black????? Please understand this, no matter how much we do not want to accept this; there are BLACK and WHITE people. We all will always feel a certain way about our own race. However, that does not mean that you have to be and act ignorant. When white people feel elated about things, they are not penalized for it regardless of how others may feel.

  • Confused

Coonery @ it’s best! I really wish these rappers would keep Obama’s name out of their ignorant mouths. All they do is make all black people, including Barack, look like a bunch of bafoons. If a mainstream white entertainer were to say something similar to that about black people every black person would be up in arms… negroes are getting more ridiculous by the day!

  • Shawn

First off it was not an inauguration. It was a party at LOVE NIGHT CLUB on Saturday evening… I guess they forgot to leave that out! Another thing, Jay-z nor Jezzy speak for me. I am an individual with individual thoughts.

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA should have nothing to say because it’s not reflective of how he portrays himself, or his family…

AND MR O’REILLY…YOU ARE RACIST and you KNOW IT!!! Stop pretending not to be. Even Whites know you’re racist…

  • LALA

Please tell me. Why is it White folks just have to sit back and wait until we show up, act out and embarrass ourselves? Hence, allowing them the opportunity to makes these statements and showing footage like this to the World. I’m all for freedom of speech. However, there is a time and place for everything. Now that Obama is President, we are all under the magnifying glass (especially, President Obama) more than anytime in History. Let us all prove them wrong and make a point to do better. It is Our time NOW and the World is watching…………..

  • Dark Cable

I don’t care who you are, that shit was ignorant. Negros please don’t be our Presidents downfall with your jiggabo antics.

  • Unpopular Opinion

I don’t like Bill O’Reilly, but even the devil tells the truth now and then, even if it is for his own evil purposes.
And yes this will be an unpopular opinion, but I was very offended when that man threw his shoe at George Bush. Love him or hate him, he was still the leader of the free world, and the prez of the US, the greatest country in the entire world. So, that shoe-throwing incident (although it was kinda funny, I have to admit), it insulted me as an American.

And back to Bill O’R, I agree Jay-Z should have known better. Leave that kind of crap-talk to the ignorant teenagers. J is too long in the tooth to be so orally reckless.

  • BigMike

    3 Things!!!

    1. It’s funny how these two white guys put so much emphasis on what two RAPPERS are saying. They repeatedly state that they don’t care, but then they devote so much time to discussing them.

    2. I believe in freedom of speech to the fullest, and as a Black Man I will stand up like a soldier for MY President Barack Obama. I will not play into any sterotypes that other races suggest we play into. I am a huge fan of Jay Z and Jeezy’s “music”, but the timing/place of their comments was totally inappropriate.

    3. Is Bill “Perv” O’Reilly really still on Faux. I don’t watch Faux news at all due to their blatant racist views. Damn Faux, you don’t care about racists, idiots, or sex offenders as long as they can sell books and make you money.

    Lord have mercy!!!

  • Ignorance is Contagious

This is an absolute embarrassment to Black educated people. But, seriously rappers are uneducated ex-drug dealers, do we REALLY expect great things?

I am happy that Fox News is putting this out there. I am a teacher in NYC and every time my male students act-up, I say: “remember who the president is..act accordingly”. We cannot continue to allow these rappers to embarrass us.

  • tamara

rap music needs a makeover. i never liked all this n**r talk and ho and bitch talk they need to grow up, and realize they are role models and they should become men of class and substance, they may try and justify the use of this word but they have not been through a fraction of what the civil rights leaders went through; been beaten , spat on ,lynched murdered and rape. YET those men who survived choose not to use these words that diminish us as a people.some of the survivors wereat the inauguration crying tears of joy ; i bet not one would dare utter such words in public.its time for a change and not just whites we blacks have to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery, we have to start lettinggo of hate and start treating ourselves how we want to be treated. its just as people always say if youcall yourself a stupid bitch why should others call you or think you are any differet when that is how you label yourself. black men need to recognize their role as leaders and take their place no more excuses , it time to step up to the plate. stop embarassing your race, your moms your sisters yourselves….

  • LALA

    @smdh aka sexy chocolate syrup

I really appreciate your comments. Perhaps, you should consider seeking a position as a public speaker. The youth needs someone like yourself to shake up their ways of thinking. Michelle and Barack are great role models, and your intelligence follows in their lead. Keep talking and educating. I myself would like to see more Young Black Americans with your view point.
    Thank you!!!!!!

  • tamY

what a contrast between jay z and beyonce’s performance. ITS A DAMN SHAME,AND ITS F***G EMBARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASINNNNG!!!!!!!. we always seem to screw up each other history repeats itself we are self destructive…remember mr “i want to cut his nuts off” ITS MOSTLY THE MEN WHO F**K US UP . MEN U NEED HELP!

  • blackgirl

That was not classy at all but I dont know what folks expect from rappers. Rappers are not some great intellectuals. They are ignorant entertainers. If there were not so ignorant, they wouldn’t be able to get on a track and say in and everything. So..here they are doing what they do best…being ignorant. Fox commentator Dennis Miller couldn’t have put it better!

  • LALA

    @ 007

Thank you for your opinion. It’s nice to know some folks are self thinking individuals. Once upon time hip hop was a culture we could ALL relate to because rappers where regular cats, wearing regular gear and really rapping about real shit. Now that the genre has been completely commodified, and millions upon millions of dollars are exchanging hands, all rappers can rap about is material wealth. Unfortunately, rappers have become wealthier than they could have every imagined, but the average young brother is still dealing with racial profiling, unemployment and the list goes on and on. Let’s just hope the lyrics will change and become more uplifting and certainly reflect the values of our first African President. Obama 2013……………

  • RealTalk

Opinions are like assholes…everyone’s got one and all they’re good for is releasing sh.it!!!!!!!!

We as Americans need to get over ourselves and start figuring out ways to get our country back on track. Every American has a right to express themselves so we let’s agree to disagree and move on.

Thankfully Bill O the clown and “can’t even make it work on the NFL broadcast” Miller don’t have as big a sphere of influence as they’d like to believe.

  • Indigogg

Obviously, Bossip is just trying to create static, because in this instance, Fox News was right and justified in exposing these ignorant ass people. Because of the fact that we as blacks are always lumped together as a group and not as individuals, this is just one more embarrassing moment. Even President Obama has told us that we need to quit making excuses and get our shit together. This just another example of “taking the nigg#$ out of the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of the nigg#$”!

  • white male

I like oreilly, but i’m white.
Its strange to me that so many black people hate oreilly
if you ever watched his show he actually does a done of good for black people and goes out of his way to do so.

  • Cuervo

Tupac was right and as much as i hate to say it and respect and love our new president “were not ready to see a black President”

  • Howbad

Freedom of speech At it’s finest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • JustMe

I agree with O’Reilly that the rappers’ comments were in poor taste. I am black, and I do not hate O’Reilly. I use to watch his show two years ago. I stopped watching his show for many reasons. The main reason I stopped watching O’Reilly was that FOX News was too republican for me.

  • dfsfs

People dont like Truth. especially white people. At least black people are honest

  • JustMe

Dijah, I agreed with most of the things they said; I did not agree on how they said it. I am happy that Bush is not are president anymore too.

  • MAGIG

THEY ASKED OBAMA ON ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT WHAT CELEB WOULD PEOPLE BE SURPRISED THAT HE HAS ON SPEED DIAL IN YOU BLACKBERRY?HE SAID JAY-Z! ENOUGH SAID

  • http://bossip.com ash

OMG I know that the video was a little ignorant but dayum that video was funny lol

  • Stefanie

I think it’s funny that black people are so fast to cry racism… 97% of blacks voted for Obama. I’m sure that less than 10% could actually discuss two policies in full and not just say “we need change”. What does that tell you? Blacks voted because Obama is black. No other reason.

P.S. Pain and suffering?? LOL!! What pain and suffering does Jeezy and Jay Z have? No one in the past several generations of their family was a slave. Before anyone calls America a terrible place for even allowing slavery, has anyone taken the time to RESEARCH slavery in the world??? America had only 3% of the slave trade that was happening in the world at that time. Hell, slavery EXISTS today in Sudan, and other African nations.

    THINK people. Please.

  • Love and Happiness

Oh no, Bookworm, Clinton left a surplus in the national budget, Bush cleaned it out, leaving a deficit.

  • BigMike

LMAO @ White male – Of course you would like Bill “Perv” O’reilly. In the words of Chris Rock “It’s alright, because it’s all White”.

    and…..

LMFAO @ Stefanie for saying that black people only voted for Obama because he’s black. Thanks for playing into the stereotype that we can’t sit back, listen to both parties opinions, and then formulate our own. By the way, Obama is clearly educated, speaks intelligently, and presents himself very well. In the last 30 years I don’t know many presidents that I can say the same about. Just on that note, I would’ve voted for him anyway.

    Give me a break!

  • mixxbreed

NOT SURPRISED, FAUX NEWS was ONLY channel to report this negative story during OUR historic time!

Find something better to talk about, and stop trying to find stories that portray us in a negative light! You are not helping!!! Who ever gave FAUX NEWS that video should be shot, why prolong the negativity?? If it happened IN the club let IT stay THERE!!

Don’t care about Jay-Z or Jeezy they are not paying my bills!! and neither are you O’Rilley!

  • JustMe

Stefanie said, “No one in the past several generations of their family was a slave.” Stefanie, I hate to tell you two generations back in both sides of my family tree have ancestor that were slaves. My ancestors lived a long time.

  • http://www.flickr.com/photos/heathermariex3 D’ashley Heather

I’m 16 years old, and I understand that they may have been representing the positive message, but it wasn’t a message that was supposed to be taken as negative, and if you understood that, like the fans and the rest of the nation that is walking around saying my president is black, you would’ve thought that what Jay-Z said was hot, because in all honesty it wasn’t a bad rap. Yung Jeezy was speaking his opinion, it’s not fair for him to be criticized based on his opinion and let’s be serious here, Fox News is a republican station. No offense to them, and not to generalize but they just wouldn’t understand how it’s not offensive to people. Yung Jeezy never said anything to offend the crowd, listen to the reactions, they all went wild. People are happy and are proud to be able to say my president is black. It’s a big step for this country. As much as the guy from the radio wants to say that they’re just bringing down the country because of it, they really and truly aren’t. It takes time to think about what’s being said there, people understand that it’s not just about about Barack Obama being black, but because he’s black that adds on brownie points to his greatness. Unlike John McCain, Barack Obama is an amazing man, who has wonderful ideas, and his plans to help the country and change the way we think are amazing, they’re fresh and new, and it’s just what this country needs, the fact that Obama is black is just making it so much better. So yes I am going to continue on and say “My President is Black”. This is an amazing accomplishment, and I’m proud to say that my president is black and I’m finally proud to be an American.

  • http://www.flickr.com/photos/heathermariex3 D’ashley Heather

One more thing addressed to Stefanie, listen to yourself, you sound extremely ignorant. Change is something that the country does need, but if you listen to the plan on how it’s going to be done, you wouldn’t just sit here and say “Black people voted for Obama because he’s black” If Barack Obama was white and had the same opinions, and felt the same way, the results may have been slightly different but he still would have one. People listened to his mind, and his intelligence and formulated an opinion on both of the candidates on their own, not just because he was black. So just take your own advice and THINK, think about what you’re saying before you post it online and make a fool of yourself. And if you’re going to use statistics make sure they’re actually right, and not just things you think you remember. Every single black person in America voted for Obama because he was black? You’re actually very wrong on that one, there are a lot of black republicans that didn’t like what Barack had to say. Also just to put it out there so you have your facts right, America still has slaves today… The slave trade will be around for a very long time. Once again take your own advice and RESEARCH.

  • sickofitt

I think it was Ice Cube that said “It takes a nation of N!ggas to hold us back.” SO TRUE! Anyone that thought that was exceptable I really hope you are under the age of 18. Their is a time and a place for everything. I was very happy to see Bush go. But all of that derogatory language was uncalled for especially considering this was an event to celebrate the incoming president. Although, this was not apart of Obama’s events. Jay/Jeezy sole reason for being in DC was to celebrate the inauguration and this is what they do.

For everyone screaming MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK! OK,
SO NOW WHAT?!?!?!?! Your president is black so what are you going to do to make things better for you and yours? Because all our president before Obama was white did that mean that blacks had a pass on being law abiding, self sufficient citizens with morals and values? It is ridiculous to shout this phrase when you don’t plan on making a change to better yourself.

Here is how it should go. My president is black; so I can no longer make excuses about the white man holding me/us back. I can no longer pretend there is a wall preventing me from achieving everything I set my mind too. Because my president is black, I will do my part to raise my family with the importance of morals, values, education, being self sufficient and respectful of others etc… My president being black has showed me the importance of education, integrity, and family. Although, these things should have been apart of your lives prior to Obama some of us have been heavily slacking on these important elements. So, please don’t yell my president is black when you continue to make excuses, and blame others for your short comings.

  • Snyde

Something tells me that this is not the message Obama is trying to convey. All these guys are doing is driving the divide further and further into their young fans that actually look to them for inspiration and treat them as role models. Yes, Bush has had a controversial presidency, but who cares anymore? We have a new president. I could care less whether he’s black or white. I understand it is monumental for the black community to see that they can acheive anything if they have enough drive. There is just no point in promoting this through such classless behavior. Jay-Z and Young Jeezy should put their influence to good use instead of strengthening the divide.

  • Pride

That was awful it really was. We are trying to BETTER the black race. Both of them needed to kept that shit to their self. I mean come on time to grow up. J is the one that pulled up his pants and started wear suits and beginning to look like a really MAN now he just made his self look like a damn fool. The other person I don’t give a hoot about he can take a back seat any time. B didn’t want to walk in her heels these NIGGIA is taking this way to far. Set your monkey asses down.

  • emmy

Damn, look how quickly other black people throw black people under the bus, when the white people disagree!

Half of you didn’t have a problem with the song, until Bill Orielly sat his racist ass up there and said something about it, and now you wanna supposedly defend all the “good” black people.

ITS MUSIC, nigga. They didn’t insult Obama. Nor did they insult the black race. They didn’t even directly insult the man that destroyed our country!

You silly black people don’t know which way you’re going. You wanna defend other blacks, but when we make a mistake you’re quick to ron brownz us, and jump out the fu**ing window with this one.

EFF all you fair-weather black people.

  • Razzell Dazzell

No way! Jezzy and Jay Z needed to be attacked! They acted like ignorant fools, and they’re being called out on it! It was a disgrace, and the sad part about is they didn’t even realize what they were doing. Maybe they did and didn’t care. That is NOT a representation of me and I will not defend that type of rhetoric! I was disgusted and ashamed to see them parading ignorance on such an historic day. Beyonce should have a big boy conversation with J. What an embrassment….now there should be no arguement of wheter or not people such as Jay Z and Yeezy are invited back to any of the functions associated with the President. How can J honestly want to be taken seriously in politics when he’s spruilling hate and disgracing a segmented community? They both should issue a public apology to the president and the American people. That’s just my opinion!

  • Razzell Dazzell

@Pride, that’s not true! What data did you have to support your claim that half of the people like the song! Which half..the well informed educated, or ignorant followers? I’m sorry, I will not condone that rhetoric or behavior, and neither should you! It’s just what we don’t need. If they want to help the cause, they should learn how to communicate effectively, and find positive means to educate the public. This is a time for bringing the counry together, wheter you African American, Caucasian…etc, when you’re wrong, you’re wrong, and not only we’re they wrong, they were vile!

  • http://bossip Juice

As far as the Yeezy/J comments…I’m with Dennis Miller. J should know better, Yeezy hasn’t had time to grow yet. Yes, this is a free country, in which speach is free. But, there is a thing called class (J’s lyrics:”You pay for school, but you can’t buy class)! Some things are better not said in public, in front of a camera and a mic. This was an event of magnitude. Historic. And deserved no blemish from “simpleness”. We can all see Pres. Obama is black, we all laughed at Bush dodging shoes. However, say something uplifting without staining the new administration with loaded comments that are unneccessary, at best! And let our new President make all of us proud. This will go down in history as a presidency, unprecidented, forever. Let us make him proud, let us make Dr. King proud, and be upstanding, strong, and supportive. No disparaging comments. Just common sense. Again, we all can see that Obama is black, we know what this occassion means, and what it says. So, let us all(black people, African-Americans…what ever you prefer) shine our light, the type of light that lives in us all, the same light that emenates from President Obama, into the world and make this country and this planet a better place.

  • Razzell Dazzell

PS They did insult Obama, using that type of derogatory language (especially in a public setting), could have insensed people to the point of violence. Imagine if they’re were Bush supporters, and liked J and Yeezy and just came to have a good time but once hearing the insults and language (which some Caucasians find insulting) and figts were spawned. If you don’t support unity, then you don’t support Obama or the majority of American people. We want to move forward, we don’t need preventative instances like this hindering the relationships we are trying to build with all people, including ourselves. To J, and Yeezy, I don’t care how much money you have, it can’t buy you class or intelligence, which neither of you have, and if anyone supports their rhetoric; you’re in the same boat!

  • Razzell Dazzell

@Pride, sorry, those comments were intended for emmy, not you! See, J and Yeezy should take a page out of my book and apologize!

  • emmy

Umm, so what you’re saying is…they shouldn’t have performed that song? That’s what they were doing, was performing.

Tifffany said it right, they were at the club…at LOVE. And I’ve been to love honey, and thats no place to class it up. LOL

and WHY do white people find it insulting? I don’t get that. What does it even HAVE to do with race? Its not a racist song. They’re proud because their president is black…

    …is their president NOT black?

    oh…alright.

GOODNIGHT to those of you, that think you have a valid case.

  • Razzell Dazzell

@Tiffany, think of it in terms of you’re parents…when you go to school, you’re still a representation of them. When you act out and behave in a manner that is not consistnent with how you we’re reared, people not only judge you but you’re parents as well. Good, bad indifferent. The same logic applies to President Obama. We represent ourselves and him with our actions, whether we believe or not. It is unfortunate that J and Yeezy are in a position to have negative perceptions projected onto to other African Americans and Mr. President. They should be using they’re status for positive not negative! They would have recieved better press if they would have had people come on the stage and rap about the future and success of Mr. Presidents administration. My goodness! Where are the pr people for these people? I’ll volunteer, and we have this thing fixed in no time! We are responsible for our own actions, and for the person who said Yeezy hasn’t been out long enough to have sense about appropiate public behavior and rhetoric, that is such a cop out. He is behaving the way he knows, and what he knows is not much except how to display ignorance and broken english. Please! Hold these “racist” (and I am an African American woman), accountable. African Americans can be prejudice too! We have to remember, it wasn’t just African Americans who voted for him, and we must work together across racial lines if we want to be successful in this administration and in 2012…regardless of whether or not we lose J and Yeezy to the cause.

  • mixxbreed

    emmy im right with ya!

  • http://bossip Juice

Not the point! The evening was about Obama and what he is going to do for this country and relations across the globe. Bush’s name shouldn’t even be muttered! We all know the history of the last 8 years…let’s move on and embrace the years and the administration’s success to come. my comments weren’t about the song, it was about what was said befor the song even began. Do you think that President Obama wants a celebration, in his honor, with the word nigga flying around? I don’t think so! Come on black people. Let’s be big about this one. Preach!

  • adiamondcenter

    lol funny………..

  • http://bossip Juice

@emmy/mixbreed…Come on! Whether or not this club is a place of class or not, it doesn’t mean that you have to smear, with remarks and actions, the importance, the magnitude, and the meaning of the occassion that we have embarked on. Yes, there are people who are upset that we now have a Black president…so what. That’s why we vote. Majority rule! There were people unhappy with Bush, and if McCain would have won, there would have been people unhappy with that majority choice. However, we would have, and have, lived with the choice of the majority! You do NOT, act in a manner that show ignorance in the eyes of those you already have formed a blanket opinion of an entire race and culture! It merely re-inforces their beliefs! It should have been a moment of pride. One that showed that, just like our new President, we all have class. We are all intelligent, we all have pride! J and Yeezy did what all white folks expect us, as black folks, to do. It didn’t call for an “in your face moment”! Let’s remember…if all black folks in the U.S., all seniors, people 18 years plus and even children who are not old enough to vote, voted in November, it still would not have been enough to place President Obama in high office!!! The numbers and population simply are not there! There were many cultures and races outside of the African American community, including millions of whites, who punched President Obama’s ticket. Do the math. The numbers don’t lie. Be uplifting and possitive people! The times are too important and our sense of urgency is way too low!

  • Aurora In Boston

Oh for the love of God… MORE IGNORANT BLACK PEOPLE!!!!!

So, dumb! I have to laugh, using NIGGA in the same sentence you’re praising you new BLACK president.

Im so humiliated by those Jeezy & J. Throw in the can with Vic.

  • Tina

Jay Z is by far not dumb, stupid or ignorant. He expressed his self in a way that negatively reflected Bush. Jeezy on the other hand was just doing what he always does, spitting out what ever he wants.

We first have to understand that both of these men are individuals and have a right to feel/express themselves way they want. They are not always a rapper sometimes, they are just a person.

McCain ran one of the most slanderous campaigns ever and I guess every white person was accountable for the way he acted??? I don’t think so!

I guess when you watched the posted video you guys did not hear when Bill O’Reilly said “these people”, that’s just as bad as what Jeezy/Jay Z said.

  • http://mylisanicol.blogspot.com/ mona lisa

    What’s ignorant is niggathis-niggathat
    What a class act
America will begin to hate that
    Our president is black
If you continue to act like that

  • TheOne

First off…how ever did this make the news. There are lots of events that go on in the CLUB that do not need to be displayed on TV more precisely the news. I mean come on folks this was at the Club…Club LOVE. The music is Rap and to be quite frank the metaphor behind it all was quiet lovely I have to admit. Jay I love you! Back to the subject at hand…yea using the N* word is and always will be inappropriate but to assoicate this “concert” that took place at a club with a preinaugural ball to me is ignorant and something these pin heads took advantage of. I’m just saying…

  • Just Bored…

I don’t like Bill, but I agree with him on this subject. That was not called for, I don’t care if it was at a club or not. How can Jay-Z be a role model to small children but talk like this. These two idiots need to go back to school.

  • TheOne

Who made Jay-Z a role model for small Children?? He is a rapper for crying out loud!! A small child should not be listening to rap…they should be learning there ABC’s so they can learn how to rhyme. I mean this is just random ridiculousness. Our President is Black and these two “reporters” just don’t like it…anything they can use to say “see I told you that black people are ignorant and see I told you that Barack would cause a problem” they will use it!!

  • ashley

The thing is, if Obama was to come out and slame these rappers, Bossip and everyone else would be on OBAMA’s side. Stop blaming FOX news for these ignorant comments some black people have the nerve to say.

  • ashley

    Tina

Jay Z is by far not dumb, stupid or ignorant. He expressed his self in a way that negatively reflected Bush. Jeezy on the other hand was just doing what he always does, spitting out what ever he wants.

SORRY, BUT JAYZ AND JEEZY BOTH MADE THEMSEVLES LOOK BAD. THERE ARE A LOT OF AFRICAN AMERICANS AND OTHER ETHNICITIES THAT ARE, SHOULD, AND WILL BE EMBARRASED BY THE THINGS HE SAYS. YES,HE IS ENTITLED TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH, BUT LETS BE REALISTIC. IF OBAMA WAS TO PUT HIM ON BLAST FOR HIS COMMENTS AND SAY HE IS DISGUSTED AND HOPES NO ONE GOES OUT AND SUPPORTS JAYZ AND HIS MUSIC…THEN GUESS WHAT WILL HAPPEN? DO YOU REALLY THINK PEOPLE WILL TURN ON OBAMA ON THAT ONE? I THINK THEY MIGHT JUST FOLLOW HIS ADVICE…AND DARE JAYZ SAY ANYTHING BACK! SO, LETS KEEP THIS IN MIND. WHAT HE SAID WAS BAD…NOT FOR BUSH BUT BECAUSE WHITE PEOPLE SIT AROUND AND WANT THIS KIND OF THING TO HAPPEN AND JAYZ IS PLAYING RIGHT INTO IT. PLUS, THE THINGS HE SAYS TOTALLY DISCREDITS EVERYTHING OBAMA IS TRYING TO DO.

We first have to understand that both of these men are individuals and have a right to feel/express themselves way they want. They are not always a rapper sometimes, they are just a person.

THESE MEN KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY USE THEIR FAME TO GET PEOPLE TO GO OUT AND VOTE BUT THEN TURN AROUND AND SAY WHAT THEY WANT TO SAY AND EXPECT NO ONE TO REALLY LISTEN? I AM NOT BUYING IT. THEY WANT TO BE ”NORMAL” AT THEIR CONVEINENCE.

McCain ran one of the most slanderous campaigns ever and I guess every white person was accountable for the way he acted??? I don’t think so!
IM NOT A MCCAIN FAN…BUT, HE DID NOT RUN THE MOST SLADEROUS CAMPAIGN EVER. YES, BITS UNFAIR BUT IF YOU LIVED IN SOME OF THE BATTLEGROUND STATES UNFAIRNESS WAS EQUAL ON BOTH SIDES…LETS NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT BOTH CAMPAIGNS GROUND SUPPORTERS..

I guess when you watched the posted video you guys did not hear when Bill O’Reilly said “these people”, that’s just as bad as what Jeezy/Jay Z said.

IRRELEVANT AND REACHING. THESE ARE THE COMMENTS THAT PEOPLE USE AGAIN OBAMA…LISTENING TOO CLOSELY TO HIS WORDS AND FINDING A MEANING IN THEM THAT ARENT THERE.

  • Koree

Ashley. I agree its really sad that after Obama got elected our people are acting a straight mess. It is time ALL of us begin to carry ourselves with dignity and class and how is JayZ and Jeezy doing that? Just because they are famous doesnt mean they should be the only ones being more respectful but we ALL need to. Whatever feelings we have for Bush is and should be left in the past and we need to start to move forward.

  • Wow! Get over it already

Wow! Jay and Jeezy are rich so get over them. What would have made this more interesting is if these two white boys would have said nigga..I bet all of your comments would have been oh so different.. Loosen up. White people are finally getting there 15 minutes, now they can be offended when someone calls them a cracker, white trash or what ever else people say about them. Slowly they are feeling like the Minority..And face, ex-drug dealer or not, self-preservation, if you want to take drugs thats ur dumb ass fault. Dont hate the player hate and the game…

  • the "N" word needs 2 die!!

@ c from stl. i fully agree. jeezy, jay-z, and all them other wack artists get on my nerves when they try to represent obama. they just fail and make us look bad. this is how other races view us as loud, ghetto trash talking uneducated fools. it’s so embarassing to watch. and the “n” word serioulsy needs to die. ppl don’t realize the word was created by white racists who used the words against our ancestors as slaves to make them feel worthless and inferior. now it’s just a joke to black people. sometimes i almost feel ashamed to be black. it’s sad really.

  • Films.

Film, I see that you have Oscar Micheaux up in your default. Great label of honor.

  • Titan

They’ve got a point especially the Jay-Z one about white lies. I’m sure Barack doesn’t want to be associated with this kind of blatant racism consideering how progressive he is.

  • Stefanie

    Hi D’ashley Heather!

You said “One more thing addressed to Stefanie, listen to yourself, you sound extremely ignorant. Change is something that the country does need” HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU HONEY, you’re the one that needs to do some research. You said I needed stats, here they are:
Fully 96 percent of black voters supported Obama and constituted 13 percent of the electorate. McCain won only 57 percent of the votes of white men. I gotta’ give it to Obama though, he was a great speaker! Although, if we had several millions of dollars, we could afford great speech coaches and teleprompter classes too.

512 Obama voters were given 12 simple multiple choice questions…

97.1% were high school graduates, 55% college graduates.
57.4% could not correctly say which party controls congress.
71.8% Could not correctly say that JOE BIDEN resigned a previous campaign due to plagiarism.
82.6% Did not know that Obama won his first election by hiring a team of lawyers and getting his opponents kicked off the ballot.
86.9% Thought that Palin said she could see Russia from her back window, when it was TINA FEY who said that!
Only .5% of people who took the test correctly answered all the questions.

I’ll work harder, welfare needs me.

  • Bean

I was there @ LOVE in DC last Sunday night where this happened. Best party I ever went to in my life! Go to Playlist.com to hear JayZ’s entire verse…

  • http://www.flickr.com/photos/heathermariex3 D’ashley Heather

Stefanie, if you read what i wrote, it says that black people didn’t vote for him just because he was black, that’s what i was telling you to get your facts right about, and that’s the truth, so you my dear actually sound like the ignorant one, and also being ignorant isn’t necessarily always seen as a bad thing, it’s simply not knowing something, not being stupid, or anything else. You sound retarded saying welfare needs me even if it’s just a joke or you being sarcastic, way to be proud of being retarded, and saying welfare needs you.

  • http://bossip malone

i would like that to say, i agree with them, the rappers but for reals, come on, dont try to pull the president down with the ignorant, words they use. i am very confident with our new president, no more white lies, they didnt do anything wrong except show thier ignorance with the dumb words

  • Tina

    Ashley…
I read all of your comments and while you have some good points I don’t believe that you really get the jist of what I am saying. Jay Z & Jeezy are not right in the choice words they chose to use but they are entitled to their own voice and opinions. They do not live their ENTIRE life behind their fame. I am sure if either of the artist had the chance to support Obama without their fame attached they would do so because they are both young black men who have been in the struggle.

On another note, one of the other bloggers said it best… out of all the party’s and events surrounding the inauguration it’s funny how this made it to press?? Not coincidence.

  • jboog

I double dare someone to point out exactly what Jay said that was offensive. Its actually a very positive verse. Jezzy was extremly disrespectful to former Prez Bush but its not like he tossed his Air Force 1′s at him.

I am noticing various levels of arguments, which lets me know that we still have so much work to do in the Black community. Yes, it’s fine to express your opinions. We have freedom of speech. Malcom X expressed his opinions that were considered venomous at the time. But, his thoughts were eloquent. It makes me wonder if this guys are truly making money in the game as they claim. If they function at such a basic level, any educated gamer most likely is stealing them blind. They basically gave Bill O’Reilly the gun to shoot both of their butts. They not only mocked them, but they were made to look so ignorant and foolish in the process. Don’t blame Bill, they need to blame themselves. Go open up a book and take a few classes to UPGRADE your low budget behavior.
