I like Vivian Green and I’m not even a neo soul lover I just love good music period

I saw Vivian Green perform several years ago when her debut album hit the scene, and the sistah blew the house away — She was so petite and had this powerful, knock ‘em dead voice.

I look forward to her next release! Maybe good music is making a comeback in 2009 — We can only hope.

Vivian also sang backup at one time for Jill Scott, and they both produce consistently quality music.

I liked her debut album more than her second release. I think she was going through some emotional turmoil at the time, and some of the tracks were pretty bitter. Her voice still sounded wonderful, though.

That’s true. I believe that anyone can sing, but how many performers can captivate the audience’s attention with pure emotion? That’s what I believe makes a natural, raw talent standout as a great singer than that of a mediocre one.

Very true. I definitely felt the emotion in her live performance. There’s a raw authenticity to her.

Well, as you have been able to ascertain, I have a certain set of standards that I try to adhere to, and I don’t feel the need to give my time to just anyone. I’m focusing on myself, and I want to make good choices. There was a time when I jumped from relationship to relationship (in fact, people would tease me that I always had a man), and I was unhappy a lot of the time because I was with the wrong person. Does that make sense?

Vivian Green is a very talented singer with a great deal of “Talent” Unfortunately, the trend at the moment is sex appeal as opposed to vocal performance and substance.

I wonder if Bossip would have added a *Yawn* to most of the females whose vocal skills are absent and sing and rap about: materialism, sexual prowess,egotism and vulgarity!!

I’ve been in love with this songstress for years now. i think it’s been two years since her last album came out. I love her music because she sings about her experiences with such depth! i still play her last two albums! beautiful voice!

She is so sexy. I love her eyes.

I love Vivian’s voice. She is such a talented singer. Looking forward to hearing some new stuff from her.

I’m listening to “What is Love” right now. I love that song. My favorites from her 1st cd are “What is Love, Fanatic, Emotional Rollercoaster, Superwoman, Wishful Thinking. Man, that whole cd is good.

Not a vivian green fan myself, her music never had quite enough soul in it for me and was a bit sappy and sorta sad…but I am a fan of “Neo-Soul” and all other good music…so i agree with those that said Bossip needs o get it together.
