Craig: translation is that Kanye does NOT believe that Jesus is the Son of God sent here to take away the sin of the world. Kanye can take responsibility for his sins if he wants. He can pay for them to. Jesus came and paid for my sins, so I would not have to. He did it because He knows we do not have the ability to make the payment. Now, we do not have to pay for our sins. Jesus did that. Now those who do recognize Jesus as God will pay for their own sins. Count me out of that group. What about you?

Yeezy: But, I do not believe that other religions are going to hell, I do not believe in a lot of elements of it. I want to express to people that I do believe in God, but I also have friends whom are atheists. I have friends that are super duper Christians. If I come to a person that’s a super Christian and I tell them what I believe in and they tell me what they believe, I super respect that. I like when people are into what they’re into. If that’s your thing, and you break it down and you’re really into the bible and you believe everything about it, and you believe in immaculate conception and stuff like that. I certainly do not AGREE with their stance on life, if it is outside of Christ. This is not about you believing what you want to believe, and me believing what I want to believe. Verse 19 reminds me of Kanye. Yeah, he made a song some time ago about religion. Today, he says that song is not relevant in his life. Basically, he is saying he was Christian, but now he is not. Craig: A HUGE part of his problem is “his own opinion” about everything. We are called to set our opinions aside, and take on the mind of Christ. We do not have to wonder what stance we should take on things. God tells what to believe. We need NOT our own opinions. They are useless. They will send us straight to hell. The bible tells us to deny ourselves. In essence, that means we should oppose ourself and what we think, and how we think things should happen.

Kanye is using an *****ogy between his life and cars. He can live his life the way HE WANTS to, if that is what he chooses. In the end, the truth shall be revealed. He can grow in fame and fortune. In the end, he will not be able to take it with him. And Kanye is wrong about another thing. He still has a GREAT amount to loose. His soul will be called into question.

Mark 8: 36 – For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Yeezy: Soon as you’re not willing to change and go off of what you feel that morning, your life starts moving in reverse like Benjamin Button or something. Now, you’re moving backwards, you’re not growing anymore. Life is about change and if you’re not willing to change you’re not really willing to live your life, and soak in the amount of new information that’s given to you. Since day one, I knew the difference between right and wrong. I could predict what was happening. I had karma and anyone who’s ever had beef with me, something happened to them, like it’s really just been in God’s hands.

Craig: Life is not about us going off of what we FEEL each day. We would go to work one day, and then not for a while. We would be married one day, and not the next. We would take care of our children one day, and not the next. You can tell people who live according to how they FEEL. I have lived a lot of my life according to how I FEEL. It did not and does not work out in the long run. It is a dangerous thing to live by the way we FEEL. Our feeling change so often.

God determines what backwards and forwards is. Life is about change. Growth in Christ is the positive direction that we should seek. What did the word say about living our life? Again:

Luke 9:
[23] And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
[24] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
[25] For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

How did Kanye know the difference between right and wrong? That is determined by God. Kanye has turned his back on right and wrong. He has turned his eyes towards his own decisions about what is right or wrong. Kanye can have karma. I want Christ. Kanye can’t see that something has happened to him. His eyes are blinded. He can’t see.

There were a lot of people that have had beef with Christians. Christians have been persecuted, jailed, beaten, tortured, hated, and killed for believing and speaking out for Christ. God did not stop that. Yet, those that died believing in Christ are way better off than we are right now. Who knows what actually happened to the people that had “beef” with Kanye. Maybe it had nothing to do with him, and maybe it did. The question for Kanye is, does he believe that Jesus is the ONLY Savior of the world. People might have had beef with him. It seems as though he has beef with Christ. If he does not change, “karma” (sarcasm) will meet Kanye, and something, or someplace we call hell and the lake of fire will happen to him.

Yeezy: Religion is like clothing. People want comfort. People don’t want to have to take that off. People don’t want to accept the concept of there not being a heaven possibly, or the concept of losing someone and not seeing them again. The only thing that keeps you going is the idea that you will see them again.

Craig: We need to put on Christ. We need our garments washed in the blood of Jesus.

And it is comforting to know that your loved ones who die/died in Christ, are not lost but in a better place. And that we will see them again, and be with them for eternity. But, more than comforting, it is true.

Yeezy: It’s [religion] also like branding. Some people go Bapes head to toe, some people do Polo head to toe. Some people go Rocawear head to toe. Me, I kind of just go into the store and take the piece that I like the most. I’m no poster child for any particular brand. What I have to realize and what shocks people, or polarizes people is that I’m actually a brand. I’m something that people build up and believe in. They name their kids because they believe Kanye believes this. But I’m also a real person; a growing person and an artist. I don’t want the responsibility of waiting to move because this many people believe this. Like, if you believe in Kanye, if you believe in me, then just believe that I’m going to be honest with you and express to you what I believe that day. I’m not gonna be holding a congregation and *****ing prostitutes and it come out to them years later. I’m gonna come to the congregation like man, last Friday I got some head from a prostitute, I’m just gon’ go head and let y’all know.

Craig: Christianity is like branding. Paul said in Ephesians:

Ephesians 1:
11] In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
[12] That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
[13] In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
[14] Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The word sealed in verse 13 is not what we think of when we think of sealed. It is not like sealing a jar closed. It is more lie a mark. Like a branding. We have been branded by the holy Spirit confirming that we belong to God.

Kanye believes thinks very highly of himself. Too highly. Sooner or later he will crash. I hope it is sooner, than later. I pray that he repents.
