“I feel like I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a JUMP-OFF, I know this and BIG knew this. I wasn’t even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie. I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so “dreadful” as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless. Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “TRUE” actress would contact the source to be the best they can be in portraying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose her. I really can’t!
Another thing is, I have been dealing with legal matters as far as them not wanting to pay me and sh*t for this movie, got a lawyer involved, so everything is cool with that, but it still doesn’t change my views and feelings. This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it. I love BIG and will never stop reppin him. There is NOTHING anyone can do about it. The world will see the Lil Kim story, THE REAL ME! Not some made up bullshit portrayed by a talentless has-been back up singer.”

This chick is delusional. Big introduced Lil kim to Faith when they were married. Big told faith to take Kim shopping and to the gym and that she was just his artist. Lil Kim told Faith Big is like a brother. Faith found out a year later that they were sleeping together.
Kim is a liar. Big was seeing Tiffany, Kim, and Faith all at the same time. Kim is a loose woman who didn’t care if big was married and involved with other women as well. For those saying Kim is “delusional” must not have read Faith’s Essence interview, which Bossip published excerpts, where she herself said that parts of the movie are not accurate & she didn’t even remember certain incidents even happening. And, as one commenter stated the movie was being told by Ms. Wallace & Faith so you can best believe that Kim would be portrayed negatively. Even Jan (Biggie’s 1st baby’s mother) had some negativity shown towards her in the movie. And, because of dislike for Lil Kim, her lyrics, image, etc., posters keep saying she’s a w*****, she’s trying to stay relevant using Big, etc., well take a look @ your girl Faith. The two are still good friends now, and she still has a great relationship with the man’s grandfather, father, brother, sister, etc. – even better than the wife.
3. The woman this man was in love with had a baby by someone else, so he married someone else, but continues to ask about this woman, and ask why she broke his heart – and this is years later.
I can go on with instances I know about. So it can happen, people can love someone, but marry someone else for a number of reasons.
I agree the movie did not capture the true Lil Kim from watching her driven to listen to her CD’s and reading her quotes she was no jump off. Kim is real and there is no confusing that. I had many misconception of the movie before I saw it like many of you on this post, however I was quite surprised at how different it was from my expectations. The movie was about a brother acquiring fame and fortune legally as opposed to the dictates of what his environment suggested for him. Lil kim portrayal wasn’t as extreme as I thought it was but its obvious in her rap songs that she wasn’t too happy with faith and Big marriage (Big Momma ) I believe Big cared for her but I these people were very young. She and Big were in their earlier 20 could they possible know about love and the apprioate way to its expressed Maybe she thought like a lot of people that sex equates to love but as one matures you see that is just an expression of it but not it in its totality. I believe everyones depictions in the movie was neutral light no better or worst. Real talk to lil kim, how much love can a man have for you if he marrys someone else. I know in your heart you may believe it but what would be his purpose in marrying and producing another child with someone else yet he so in love wit you. I do believe he cared but he like her were young. He hurt faith just as he hurt. I think the actress did a wonderful job portraying her and my prays go out to Lil kim

Being a woman watching the movie, I too can see why Kim is upset. But if you pay attention Big really liked Kim. It was him who approached her first. Now I can say that I believe some of the details were stretched but I believe that his love for Kim is what she knows it was. I doubt the movie would be true to anyone. If you view Ms. Wallace version, she was the best mother out there (yet she produced Big with all his flaws for a son). If you view faith’s version, she was the best of the best (yet her husband was having sex with at least two other women).
I think Kim should come out with a book, detailing everything (the good, the bad, the ugly).
Kim, needs to lay off the actress that played her. Some of these actors and actresses were unknown in the movie. She probably couldn’t contact Kim because the producers told her not to. I am a new yorker and I lived for the music and people of this era and Naturi really did not have the kim factor that I was looking for. At times I thought I could do a better lil kim so I have to agree with her point on how she was portrayed. Even the chick who played Faith was whack, I mean the only woman who represented in this film was Angela B*****ett. So I would have to agree with her on this one.

Those surface statements about Faith we know as well. However, you fail to understand the point I was trying to make. Many people are basing their opinions of Kim on the image sshe portrays. Like most of the entertainment world, her image was created to sell records and it did just that, sold multi-platinum records. You all are screaming Kim is a *****, a w*****, etc., but as I stated Kim was “*****ting/whoring” and had a (1) abortion by the SAME man – Biggie. From Faith’s own interview & book she said she dealt with STDs, had multiple abortions (more than 1, Bossip puritans), and became involved with a married man (karma is a biatch). Yet, because Faith’s image was created to portray the wholesome, lady like, wifey, that’s all the majority of people see. As some posters have stated their are many sides to a story, but because of the entertainment images that are presented to you, you fail to be open to other sides of the story. You completely ignored another point I was trying to make that Faith herself said, that some portions of the movie were not completely accurate, and some incidents she never remembered happening, which would lend some validity (no matter how small) to what Kim is saying; but, because she is Lil’ Kim, no one seems to remember that or as you all say care.
The entertainment industry is bereft with all forms of human depravity. It is very hard, and for most impossible to become successful in any genre of the entertainment industry without back stabbing some one and getting back stabbed yourself. It is ACCEPTABLE behaviour in the industry any necessary to develop a thick skin. Hopefully this is a publicity stunt for Kim to stay relevant, because it would be a shame to see the industry destroy her with what is true or false about her own life

No one on here really knows what went down and who Biggie loved and didn’t love. We’re all just spectators fascinated at different levels with all of this. I guess I’m just as guilty because I found time to comment on this also. I’m sure Kim knows if someone loved her. Just like I’m sure most people on this site are mature enough to know when someone loves you and someone is just out to use you. I guess I could be mistaken though…. Anyway, regardless of what Kim looks like, or how skillful she is on the mic, she has a right to dislike, or not appreciate how she was portrayed in a movie. Everyone needs to back off Lil Kim. I feel sorry for the girl. Apparently there was something there between her and BIG because the girl completely lost her mind after he p*****ed. No one knows what was shared between the two of them (not even Faith, and I love her to pieces). The actress that played Faith contacted her to get her perspective on the situation and where she was at that time in her life. I’m with Kim, the chick that played her could have at least called and asked Kim for her side to gain a better understanding. It would have been the decent thing to do, especially being that the story was one sided, and it was the side of someone who wasn’t even in the mix. I can respect why BIG’s mom did the story, but even she said herself that there were a lot of things she didn’t know about her son until the movie. As a writer myself, they were wrong for how they did Kim. If they were going to put Kim in the story, then they should have contacted Kim for her side just as they did Faith and whoever else regardless of what their personal opinion of Kim was. It was made to purposefully downgrade Kim’s realationship with BIG and uplift Faith as his wife which is cool, but get both women’s perspectives because the wife is always going to downplay the “mistress”, but obviously there was more between them because BIG continued to go back to Kim.

I enjoyed the movie and I agree with Lil’ Kim, not about the actress that protrayed her, but about her perspective being shown. Lil’ Kim knew Biggie before he blew up, so if anyone was his jump off it was Faith; however, he did marry Faith and kept Kim on the side. In seeing the movie I now understand why Lil’ Kim is the way she is. Biggie pushed her into become *****ty. I felt sorry for her and Faith too because Biggie was a dog and *****ing any and everybody. At the end of the movie it seemed that he was about to get together with Kim before he was killed.

I know instances:
1. The person the man was in love with married someone else, so he married someone else.
2. This man was really in love with another young lady, wanted to marry her, but she didn’t want to get married @ the time. His heart was broken so he married someone else, but everyone knows he still has love for the other woman, his own mother kept saying that till the day she died. The two are still good friends now, and she still has a great relationship with the man’s grandfather, father, brother, sister, etc. – even better than the wife.
3. The woman this man was in love with had a baby by someone else, so he married someone else, but continues to ask about this woman, and ask why she broke his heart – and this is years later.
I can go on with instances I know about. So it can happen, people can love someone, but marry someone else for a number of reasons.

Totally AGREE with KIM!. The movie was off…like that ***** sucked. Banking on Biggie is one thing but to do a bio pic about someone and for it to be way offfff…Casting for that film(why amd i calling it a film as if it’s respectable) was way off. Everyone knew Kim wasn’t a jumpoff. Big respected her and loved her. He said that in many interviews let’s be realistic. Call a spade a spade and paint the bigger picture. You’re talking about someone that once carried his child. He was married to faith but let’s not paint her as the innocent person just because she HAD his kid. Everyone til this day questions her motives for chilling with TUPAC when her husband had so called beef with the man. If anything…love faith’s music and she can sing her ***** off but him marrying her after 2 weeks didn’t mean that she was wifey. Think about that!!! I was upset by the portrayal of KIM made her look like a w***** and Made CEASE look all innocent. The TUPAC depiction was way off…he could get rowdy and party but in a lot of interviews he was so subtle. I understand Biggie’s impression on the world but this film shows and validates my opinion of his legacy. There really wasn’t much to go on. We’re talking about 1+ yr career in the entertainment industry. Mrs. Wallace was concerned about KIMs character in the movie and how she wants to speak with her? She spoke about kim and biggie’s love for each other in interviews too. Diddy is a mess and this movie was a mess. You can put together all the interviews Big ever done and make a better bio pic.

I totally agree with what Kim said, it’s true. Obviously they didn’t care about her, her character, her relationship with Biggy, nothing. Like one person said, since Ms. Wallace and Faith nem did the movie, of course it’s gonna be like they want to display so what you expect. We know Lil Kim was there before Faith and therefore of course Biggy had some kind of love for her. Let’s not be so ugly guys. I would want to see Kim’s version. There are two sides to a story and then the truth. I love Lil Kim, however, we all have issues or has had issues and this is why I am sure she does that changing physically to herself. I encourage Lil Kim and the world to seek the LORD n SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST who knows all truth and heals all wombs. Word!
