What the Hell??: “Drunken Negro Face” Cookie in Honor of President Obama

We don’t mean to get y’all going on Sunday, but we had to share this ‘ish with you. It’s real out in NY:

A Greenwich Village bakery owner has sparked outrage for selling “Drunken Negro Face” cookies in honor of President Obama.

Ted Kefalinos, who runs Lafayette French Pastry on Greenwich Avenue, made a batch of the chocolate treats on Martin Luther King day, hoping to make his customers smile.

Instead, he received complaints and crank calls.

Neighboring store owners say he should have known better.

“It’s not the 1920s or 1930s, we have to get a little bit civilized,” said Nandini Shelly, who owns a tobacco store down the block.

“It’s not OK, and he’s supposed to think a little bit before he says something.”

Kefalinos, who admits he is not a fan of the new president’s policies, made about two dozen of the cookies on Monday and sold them all.

He has made other topical treats over the years, including “Dead Geese Bread” after the recent U.S. Airways crash in the Hudson River.

“I’m sorry that people were offended by the cookie,” Kefalinos told the News Friday.

“We were just trying to make a large number of people happy, and instead we made a large number of people confused and angry.”

The store received several prank calls, including from one person who told him to board up his windows this weekend.

Kefalinos was also informed that some parents who pick their children up from a nearby school, and often stop by to pick up cookies or coffee, plan a boycott.

“You should choose better words because you upset a lot of people,” said Bangally Jagana, who owns an African store next door to the bakery.

“This time I think he pushed the button too much, but I will still spend money there because we’re neighbors.”

There have been news reports of a higher than usual number of threats since Election Day. Thee increased traffic on hate sites is also being monitored. From msbnc.com:

There have been “hundreds” of incidents since the election, many more than usual, said Mark Potok, director of the Intelligence Project at the Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate crimes.

One was in Snellville, Ga., where Denene Millner said a boy on the school bus told her 9-year-old daughter the day after the election: “I hope Obama gets **********inated.” That night, someone trashed her sister-in-law’s front lawn, mangled the Obama lawn signs and left two pizza boxes filled with human feces outside the front door, Millner said.

I saw this on the news. It was white folks who brought this to the attention to the media because they were appalled. The news interview showed three different people who said they were offended. Then a news reported talked to the bakery owner who tried to downplay what he was doing. However, one of the people interviewed said that it’s not the first time she’s heard him making inappropriate comments.

P***** the word to Boycott!! Hitting this fool in the pocket is the only way he will understand!!

As White activists have pointed out, the election of Obama along with the rapidly changing demographics of America is a powerful wakeup call to European Americans. His election makes clear that we are losing the nation and principles of our forefathers. It has already led to a dramatic increase in our ranks.

We must also be aware that Obama is not the cause of our losing the America of our forefathers. He is the effect not the cause.

Although Obama supports it, he did not create the situation where millions of White Americans face the m*****ive racial discrimination of so-called affirmative action.
