President Obama’s First Interview To Arab TV

President Obama isn’t wasting any time in his efforts to change the American image in the Middle East:
Barack Obama gave his first formal television interview as US President to an Arabic cable TV network, telling Al-Arabiya that when it comes to Middle East matters “all too often the United States starts by dictating”.
Mr Obama taped the interview with the Dubai-based network as his envoy to the Middle East, former Senator George Mitchell, set out for an eight-day trip to the region and elsewhere.
The interview complemented the new administration’s first efforts to reach out to Arab leaders in the region, who have been wary at best of US efforts to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
Mr Obama said he felt it important to “get engaged right away” in the Mideast and had directed Mr Mitchell to talk to “all the major parties involved”. His administration would craft an approach after that, he said in the interview.

I think not. Israel has a right to defent itself and if the Palistinians won’t rid their state of terrorist groups like Hamas—then those are the consequences. The regional Arab nations needs to recorgnize that Israel has a right to exist in a world of peace. Unfortunately—I’m not sure what it’s going to take for them to accept that.

Well first Israel used to be called Palestine, in a nutshell the land was taken from the Palestians after WWII..After the war the United Nations was established along with the US lead “P5″ (the P5 have infinite power to make or break any international law before them) The United Nations rewrote the boundary lines to the majority of the Middle East..including Palestine the land now called Israel… If you look at a map in 1899 of the Middle East it looks totally different..
HAMAS is *****ed..These people will not forget what happened to them, so to make a ammends with the Palestians, Bill Clinton during his term appointed the “Gaza Strip” for the Palestians to live in Israeal..Which in my opinion is a death trap…The rest is history….Unfortunately, HAMAS will not back down, because the land was orignally theirs….

I don’t think the native Egyptians(what’s left of them) want Egypt to be considered a Middle Eastern State—The modern Egyptians do. There is a huge difference. They no longer have no choice. It’s the same deal with how the Brits took over S. Africa and the Italians took over Ethiopia back in the day. For Egypt it’s their Arab neighbors who successfully replaced arabic with coptic (the antient egyptian language).I don’t see their Asian neighbors trying to take over the country. I’m just saying. If we are going to talk about territorial indifference—let’s widen the scope of the conversation.I could bet you that any reference to any Ancient Egyptians, like Queen Nefertiti and alike is band in modern day Egypt—which is a total shame.
